The problem with a Manager like Russell, is that his system/tactics can only really work with a squad like Man City, who have world class players on the ball. At pretty much any other level (bar a few exceptions) or with any other team, players are just not skilled enough to pass it around and out of the back, or keep a suicidal high line, without severe consequences (aka goals!). 

 

You would think he had worked that out by now, but it seems even Leicester in League 1 will again be a lesson not learned for him. 

 

The only positive I can take right now, is that I believe we did indeed have a good transfer window and we do have a balanced squad and players more than good enough to boss this league, so that when we do inevitably change Managers, anyone taking over will have a ready made squad for promotion (if not too late by then!)
