I can’t feel that much sympathy for any fans affected unfortunately. You could have absolute foreseen this happening, we are talking about a club that has been ran into the ground, been completely miss managed for years, a sh1t show on and off the pitch. Should be boycotting ffs

what did you really expect?

i’m sorry might sound harsh, but play silly games win silly prizes

I don't think Cadiz are all that bad.

The club would have been out there and known the situation about the pitch well in advance.

Far from ideal, but at least the club seem to be helping fans out financially.

I assume adejo is just venting in-between the massive jars of sangria being delivered to his table lol

Id personally take it as a sign to just get lashed by the beach or do some sightseeing.

I mean i am pretty pissed so probably might regret most of what ive posted.

Seen some monkeys earlier, now back off to the strip.

And yes, I am the mug thats already booked new tickets in Marbella and new hotel. But alcohol aside, I do think theres more the club have done.

I'd advise you to take your own advice, log off, take in the sights of Spain and live a little rather than arguing with people on a Leicester forum on your phone. Maybe enquire at the local hospital if they've got any spare braincells to replenish those that have evidently been lost on this trip of yours.

Ive only got hand luggage, otherwise I'd offer to bring some back for you.

Mates on the phone to Jim now. Offering 50 euros compensation...

Fvck me havent you and your mates got bigger problems in life to worry about than a sodding friendly moved an hour down the road? Jesus wept.

Yes I have some sympathy with them, the pre season tours are booked significantly in advance. This trip was arranged by Gary Rowett btw, none of the current regime.

They played a game there and then made a decision on entirely reasonable grounds to move the game and avoid player injury. We would all be absolutely furious if the pitch contributed to a loss of one of our players for any period of time.

I also obviously have a lot of sympathy for the fans still there/travelling out there.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

Agree but I am not sure it would have have unreasonable to enquire about the state of the surface in the lead up to travelling. Perhaps they did and were led to believe it was okay. Not a great look for the club imho.

I just dont think we can blame the club here. They are actually being sensible. Im sorry but the player welfare is more important than inconveniencing fans and any real fan would accept that. If we lost one of our young talents to a big injury because the club played on a surface they knew wasnt good enough... then theyd be put over hot coals. We arent responsible for someone elses pitch, youd expect them to keep it at a playable level

I'd agree but it's not a one off with this club is it?

It's years of being lied to and conned by the ****ing shit houses running it.

If this were a one off issue I'd be laughing my nuts off and telling him to get a grip but it simply is the thin end of the wedge.

I've followed us away abroad and been out of pocket before because of the club deliberately and repeatedly lying. Not mistakes. Not poor communication. Lying.

Jim is up there with the worst of them. The apologist who holds up the lies.

I'm glad the poster is holding them to account. The club treats hardcore fans like they hate them.

That would make it even more ridiculous people seem surprised that stuff like this happens?

People know what the club are like. Whether they should/shouldn't act like this is beside the point.

Control what you can control. You can control spending money following Leicester on a L1 pre season tour and saving disappointment should problems occur where the club has a historic track record of putting fans out of pocket.

People need to start taking their own accountability rather than crying about it on an Internet forum.

@adejo92mate I'm sorry you and other fans have been shafted in terms of the change of venue but there's no obligation the club have to refund you for your accommodation. Yes it might be nice to do, but it's not something they must do. You're in a beautiful part of the country, enjoy it and don't let the football ruin your trip!

People need to be realistic; the club aren't going to refund accommodation/transport. A refund and free entry to the ground would be a goodwill gesture. I can't imagine many have gone, so I doubt it'll cost a lot.

A free bus ride from Cadiz and free entry into the Malaga ground would be lovely for our travelling foxes fans. Enjoy the journey. Malaga is lively and fun 😎

We arent talking about an oasis gig being cancelled an hour down the road.

We are talking about people having booked time off work, booked flights and booked hotels, all pre paid.

Don't talk such nonsense whilst sat at home in England.

So you’re telling me, the only reason to go to Spain was to watch a pre-season kick about and not a holiday? That seems highly unlikely to me, seems you’re more annoyed at not getting to watch them close to your hotel/resort.

People have genuinely just gone for the football, must say I’m a tiny bit jealous of them seemingly having no responsibilities and just going abroad to watch football at little notice
