This is just capitulation. 

I think the issue that got to Tuchel was he knew he had his best 11 on the pitch… there’s an argument he was better off making zero changes, but that would have been a huge shift for all of them.

That isn't on the players. They looked shot. It's on the manager to recognise that and change it. He didn't. Poor, poor showing from the manager

We need a Manager who drills into the players that it doesn't matter if we lose 10-1... we are NOT throwing everyone behind the ball and inviting non stop pressure all to hold to a 1 goal lead. 

 

Attack is often the best form of defence. Just think how many opportunities to get a second there would be if we had just kept the ball better and tried to attack them when they are desperate for a goal.

 

Anyone criticising Kane and Bellingham hasn't got a clue. They are attacking players and completely useless in a team that is not attacking at all.

It was just an invite for them to have chance after chance after chance. Poor positioning from Pickford for their first and desperate defending for the second. We can only blame the manager we were well in control until them horror subs were made.

It was baffling. Scoring first should have been brilliant for you. It forces Argentina to come out and commit to attack and it's supposed to be the opportunity where you can then start pelting them on the counter. 

 

But you just didn't. It should be Tuchel's bread and butter but he just bottled it.

Was a very even game until we scored and then decided to camp in our own box. Even with those changes what would we have done in extra time? We had completely hobbled ourselves. So dumb, against a very beatable Argentina.
