Exactly. Been saying this all summer. We already have the youth in all positions. Just pick up the best freebie experience to complete the squad, around them.

Oh and without a shadow of a doubt the worst players in this game have been the more senior ones - Okoli , faes , hamza , Thomas utter poo - never going to change

We can only hope that Martin is seeing what we're all seeing. It would make for a refreshing change after the lions' share of a decade spen wondering what on earth posesses the manager to pick certain players and systems again and again.

Tommy Neale is impressive, I only turned it on 2nd half so saw 15-20 mins of Braybrooke and then Neale come on and both look exactly what Martin's team needs in controlling play and opening the pitch up.

 

Nearly every academy player shone today. That Carr looks ready as well. Evans was great in the role he was asked to play and Hutchinson had some good moments linking up with him. 

 

We likely need a striker capable of 20 goals next season and should be our priority with whatever funds we may have but Opoku, Evans, Otchere and Hutchinson should all have roles this season across thay front 3 along with Alves and Carr.
