Anyone remember the cup game

that Joachim goal

that away end

that drive back to the motorway ……

still one of the best away dads ever

despite the result

Me & Pete Burman jumped the train, outside the station was a pub full of Barnsley fans, i actually knew one of them through work, great night & Joachim goal, crap result though…

I was but a young pup right at the front. I couldn’t celebrate due to the surge 😆

Conceding goals has been a big problem for us for a few seasons, always conceding makes it so difficult to achieve any kind of success. We need to tighten it up at the back and then we might start looking up rather than down.
Can we keep a clean sheet with the tactics and players we have? Doubtful so I’m going for 2-2.

Agreed but we have kept 2 clean sheets so far this season so it is possible. We need to cut the individual errors. Will always be tough with Mccarthy in goal though as hes Just not good enough

One of the great Leicester goals of my lifetime.

Such a shame JJ’s potential was never fulfilled.

Had we ever had a JJ back then?

Shouldn’t be taken for granted by the club what amazing supporter numbers we have, particularly for away matches

Yeah, lets make it count though. Numbers mean nowt if the singing doesn't match.

Genuine question as i dont know.  Do UFS still congregate together at away games?  I remember in the past a few time it would be posted that UFS will be in block so and so.  But not seen it for a while.

Dont get me wrong i know its not just on you guys to make noise but it helps the singers to know where they can locate themselves when buying tickets

There was one that went out on twitter for this game I believe.
The group has two minibuses going and some mates from Bochum so fingers crossed a good end.

Fair play.  I dont use social media except this forum ( if that counts as social media )  so explains why i didn't see it.

But ok.  Fingers crossed it will be.  The last time i went id swear the end was over capacity.  I ended up crowd surfing when hume scored.

Me too. Also remember his goal v Portsmouth  at the forest ground. He had an amazing link up with Steve Walsh too.

May be an image of football, American football and text that says "EFL League One Support... Josh Smith 12m Oakwell on Saturday will be something the rest of the EFL simply cannot match. A former Premier League champion will wander over the hill expecting to stroll past "little Barnsley" 3-0, and instead they'll hit by a cauldron that shakes the ground, drowns out their confidence and turns their 6,000 travelling fans into stunned statues as the Reds tear into them and race away with the points. Oakwell doesn't bow to reputations; it oreaks them"

A cauldron that shakes the ground’ 😂 Calm down Tolkien. It’s Barnsley, not Mordor. Keep your cauldron — Leicester have played in bigger ones. 🦊 Just remember, the bigger the pre-match speech, the funnier it is when it goes wrong

They’ve had the same/less fans than the away side in their last two games lol
