Red card!
Partly on the ref who has set the threshold high by letting stuff go for 25 mins setting the temperature suggesting anything goes.

Oh and I hope Luke’s OK, looked like a painful one!

Well that evens up Aluko’s yellow

Not really. That was a blatant yellow. Might have got away with it if he didn't grab him again when the Barnsley player got free.

That just looked like a strong challenge

Referee has been dog and has been allowing luca connell to hit in hard like that without warning. Correct decision to send off but he should've set the example earlier. 4 big chances in 22 minutes, love it.

Wins the ball. But the follow through is absolutely awful.

It really wasn’t….. after he won the ball he pulled his legs back. Nothing wrong with that challenge, proper hard tackle.

It’s high, maybe on another day another ref he gets away with a yellow but I wasn’t surprised to see the red.

Never a red that. Got the ball cleanly and caught him with his trailing leg.

That is a red card - he’s out of control and endangered a player with his follow-through.

What happened with the ball is immaterial.

The duality of football fans 😂

We have literally hand this game handed to us on a plate…

Surely not even a Russel team can throw this one away…

That’s the thing in this division they let everything go and then all of a sudden someone gets a red.

Honestly, I thought the one on Cullen earlier, and also one on Louis Page just after Aluko’s yellow were worse than the red that was given. The one on page just now was pretty bad too.
