Cracker of a day today. Just cooked and ate a bbq and sitting browsing FT on the patio with a bottle of red.

I love england as a country when it’s hot and not raining. Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else tbh.

Hottest weekend we've had here this year so far.

I just checked the temp here vs Leicester and it's pretty much the same.

I got new AC last year, so I'm nice and comfy cool.

I have to run to the store, but I'll wait until the sun goes down so I can avoid bursting into flames.

I spent the day working in a refrigerated warehouse. Got home at 8 to a bbq and  now sitting in the garden with a beer. I do love the sun but I was actually quite thankful of being able to go into the cold today.

Whichever one would happen if you put a man into an oven.

Been a couple of shit days to be honest, Mother-in-law passed away on Friday morning, it wasn't unexpected but in the circumstances still quite sudden. Only my wife remains so it's down to us to organise the funeral - poor timing as due to go on Holiday next Saturday - a rare treat booked following 48 months off hell, having had to put both mother and father in law in care homes, sort their finances, house, belongings etc. Father in-law in late stage dementia. There is no will, no power of attorney, no nothing. All this started not long after we failed IVF - so basically, we need that Holiday, we are going, but going to be a mad rush to get it arranged this week so that we can get away and have the funeral when we get back. On a more positive note, as we'd already been sorting through their things, we bought home all the old photos and paperwork today (to pick some out for the funeral) and it's been magic going through this treasure trove, documents hundreds of years old, photos hundreds of years old, lots of military medals, antique coins, military pocket watches, boxes of letters from the 1800's right through both wars, love letters, poems, paintings, huge collection of John Player ciggy cards. Amazing to be able to have all this stuff to archive and go through, going to be fascinating. It's a world of ups and downs.

Looks like a dog's bottom skull area?

Don't know what to advise really, but perhaps give it in and explain to the local vets than chuck it away?

I don't think it's the teeth of a carnivore:

Only halfway through the day, but stood within a few feet of Neil Lennon during a Celtic training session.

Do you live in Glasgow?

Only just bothered looking at this thread.  For someone like me, who is a bore, a moaner and who likes to give my opinion on things that no one cares about it looks like a thread I'm going to really enjoy.

Today I am doing some god awful temp work in a car dealership for a bit of extra cash and, as you can see from my FT activity today, I am spending most my time skiving on here.  X

I'm just not built for this kind of environment.  Too many chunky tie knots and big fancy watches.  And I don't like cars.  X

Yeah, I do confess to being surprised - you don't strike me as being an Arthur Daley type.

Absolutely shit so far. Was trying to mod a game last night and have ended up moving or deleting some OS files on my PC.

After pissing around all morning trying to fix it, it looks like i need to do a full clean windows install... I cant believe i'm such an idiot sometimes and should learn not to mess about with stuff i'm not 100% au fait with.

Rip the next 12 hours :(
