So easy to forget the stretching when it's starts to improve. I've a been having physio for a year on a bad back that ended up being a bad leg. First time in the gym for over a year yesterday and getting between 8000 and 10000 steps a day, but so easy to not do the stretches and then start to get pain again.

Managed to put three week's worth of work to bed for my major client, got the same planned and ready for signing off for the rest, and landed a six days fully expensed 5* in Warsaw for a half hour of speaking gig. I tried to dissuade them, pointing out that the only person with less to contribute to any discussion on any topic would be Boris Johnson. Downside, I'm going to have to be sober and get up before 9am for one day.

But, most importantly, Dog#2 didn't roll in shit for the first day in seven. That my friends is a complete result. Let the Belgian beer flow.

Just watching crufts and whilst I love dogs I have no idea what is going on. How do you judge what dog is better than another dog?

In my experience, most days, the one that hasn't rolled in fox shit.

I've been struggling with phimosis for about 5 years. Through that time I've been applying steroid cream prescribed by the doctor, and the problem sometimes gets a little better but it doesn't go away completely, then it gets worse again and the cycle repeats. Sometimes the skin gets dry, splits and bleeds. It's painful and difficult to keep clean. Sex is impossible because of the pain and I'm scared of making it worse. At long last the GP told me today that I can choose to be circumcised as it's the only way of dealing with it other than continue with the cream. I'm opting for the procedure. It's a worry, but I feel relieved that something will be done.

My brother went through exactly the same, he chose to be circumcised and has never looked back. I hope it goes well for you, from what I understand it was a really simple procedure and it made a massive difference to his quality of life

Never heard of this condition before, yikes! Assuming most males on the forum are grabbing their  crotches as they read your post lol. Just remind the surgeon about 80 times as your sitting on the operating table that they are cutting off the foreskin and not your twig and berries.

Sounds painful mate and a bit shocking your GP didnt mention the option before? Either way i think you've made the correct decision. Forget about the sex for a moment it's more important that you feel better which will also help you mentally and of course sexually (once healed). Hope the procedure is painless and goes smoothly! All the best!

Thank you for the kind words and reassurance. No doubt COVID prevented an earlier referral for the surgery.

I had to have a molar yanked a few years back and it was a bloody relief, the slight discomfort and only being able to eat mash after was worth it given the bloody pain that came before, never felt anything like it. Luckily my jawline wasn't compromised

I have to have two wisdom teeth out soon. Not looking forward to it.

I had one out a few years ago but the NHS shifted me on to Nuffield Health and that was an almost pain free experience. I'm not as confident in the NHS though.

On a scale from 1 to 10 how petrified should I be? Just been told I need a wisdom tooth removed. It isn't giving me much if any pain at the moment but it's apparently a ticking time bomb and serving no function.

How long afterwards is it difficult to eat?

It's not as bad as you think, you'll be numb.

Afterwards you'll need to chew on one side. Take your standard pain killers for a week.

I've had three removed so far.  If your dentist is doing it then it's probably straightforward.  You'll have a hole that will fill in naturally over time, you'll probably have to keep the wound clean with rinses after eating to begin with.  I didn't have much trouble with pain.

I haven't had mine done yet due to possible complications with current medication I'm on. I am due to see them again on Monday to give me a date for the procedure.

They said because its two top ones it won't be difficult. They are supposedly much easier than bottom ones. I'll have anaesthetic injection either side and they'll be able to have them both out in about 20 mins.

When I had my lower one done under general anaesthetic years ago there wasn't any pain afterwards really. Just a dull ache for a couple of days and waiting for the hole to close up with help from dissolving stitches. Plus they gave me pre-emptive Ibuprofen an hour before the procedure. This is much more effective than waiting until the "trauma" and taking them afterwards apparently, as the anti-inflammatory effect is already in your system ready and waiting.

The sensation of having it yanked out was weird and a bit uncomfortable but not painful brother. After just felt a bit sore for a few days, made sure to swill with salt water and not play with the wound, not long before you'll be chomping on your favourite sweets

I was already odontophobic. Then I saw that film.

One day I'll have the mouth of Albert Steptoe:

Steptoe and Son - British Comedy Radio

On the upside, I'll get mistaken for Jamie Vardy's dad.

It really is possible to go to Thailand and not pay someone to lick your ringpiece. You know, if you’re kinda like halfway decent.
