Not necessarily. I sent a parcel, for 2 weeks it was in the depot and didn't move. It was being 'investigated ' but they advised it was probably lost. Then suddenly delivered! 

That is the first time I've had any issues with Evri. Yodel are a different story.

On the Evri topic, it winds me up when they leave my parcel on the front whatever the weather and in plain site. 

 

Something else that crossed my mind regards to parcels, is surely it's a breach of confidentiality when they give parcels to random neighbours you haven't asked for with all your details on the front. I understand mistakes with letters going to the wrong house, but it's not like I've 'nominated' anyone.

I was in Belfast last weekend.  A lovely weekend of tourism, including a bus tour to the Giant's Causeway.

 

A lady sitting behind me on the tour coach had a rasping cough.   She kept breaking out in coughing fits.

 

I thought - who does that?  Who gets into an enclosed space with strangers and coughs their guts up?

 

Well fast forward to this morning and I feel like hell, I can't taste my food and I've tested positive for COVID.

 

Really wish I'd given Coughing Lady a piece of my mind at the time  :mad:

Many such people. And I swear there is a positive correlation between poor personal hygiene and habits and being a massive busybody during Covid. Basically it's always someone else who spreads germs, never them.

The worse aspect about leaving parcels in plain sight is if left for any length of time it does advertise that nobody is home.

One thing to remember if you bought goods from a retailer and their chosen carrier loses it etc then it is their responsibility to replace or refund. Obviously if you gave instructions to leave in a so called safe place and it disappeared from there that is another matter. If delivery not completed as ordered don't waste time chasing carrier but get onto retailer. They should investigate for you and if not located within agreed timescale sort out the replacement or refund.

I laughed, shouted and then just gave up with this youth of today!!!
