Just incase people don't click the link - I've been guilty of not bothering to click links in the past. It's an article about ex players coming back to help their former clubs... Leicester City - Steve Walsh "To footballing fans of the current generation, Steve Walsh is renowned as the man who brought Riyad Mahez and N'Golo Kante to the King Power stadium. In his playing days, Walsh was a no nonsense defender who who captained Leicester in the mid-90s: After forging a reputation of nurturing young player, the 53 years old could be perfect to steer Leicester's young side to mid-table." Erm ...Think you mean this Steve Walsh ...Which in turn renders the write up incorrect. Edited 5 January 2018 by Matt 1

A sports journalist basing a section of his article on one person and getting that person mixed up with a different person isn’t really an easy mistake to make.

Was in the "away" team for the first half. Walshy took a penalty and missed it, the ref ordered him to re-take it and Gazza went in goal and nearly saved it. Then at half time the PA announced that he'd signed for Leicester City for about £2.60 and a packet of Quavers. He carried on entertaining in his own very special idiom - I can still remember him diving extravagantly for a free kick, then hilariously rolling about 20 feet away until the ref blew up. It's was Walshy's special night, but Gazza was the star of the show. That we're still taking about him TWENTY YEARS later just proves what a gifted genius and wonderful character was on and off the pitch. I'll certainly never forget seeing Gazza play for Leicester City! Edited 15 January 2018 by urban.spaceman 5
