MC Prussian Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 It's great to see the moaners have taken a step back in the recent few weeks and months. Why is that, I wonder? Anyway, one little gripe that I have with the program lately is that Stringer (or the BBC responsibles) tend to implement too much "fancy" sound bites and music - f.eg. the classical music intro last week that lasted for several minutes, without anything happening. I wish it was more down to more talks & analysis. At times, it's a bit strenuous when it appears as if Stringer and his team are lacking content and thus need to cover it up with rather mundane "fillers". Having said that, I can see it being challenge to do good and entertaining radio, anyway.
Fox92 Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 I listened until half six then turned off. Got bored again. Although I had a weird dream last night I called up, and then didn't know what to say when on air.
Dan Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Stringer's assurance that we're already up is embarrassing. I'm so glad we don't share our phone in with other clubs like some do.
