Sorry but the new Red Dwarf was absolutely dire. It needs killing asap.

There were one or two decent moments (when it was just them four and Holly, like the old days) but the rest was utterly dreadful. All the new cast were awful, especially the three "followers" who looked like they'd won a competition to be there.

Just started on The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime which was based on a book written in 1962 by Philip Dick- well known sci-fi author- an alternate reality world set in America where Nazis won the war and controls Western Coast while Japanese occupies the East Coast.   One episode in but a cracking and intriguing start,  it got a Cold War/spy thriller feel about it.

Anyone else watching or finished the series (4 seasons with 10 episodes each so not a long watch)?

It's a great show. Series 3 wasn't so great but they were setting it up for series 4 which is the best yet.

I see Martin Sheen is trending on twitter, congratulating him on his performance as Chris Tarrant in Quiz lol

Quiz was good. I was a bit worried they’d go a bit too serious with it but it was actually pretty well done, pretty funny in places too. Michael Sheen is a class above - I thought the cast was brilliant to be honest, Claire from fleabag playing his wife was great casting.

Another excellent Better Call Saul this week - the last 3 have been exceptional, 5 seasons in and it's getting better and better as it goes along.

Lalo has been an inspired addition to the cast.

Been right at the top of its game this series, all coming together perfectly. Can't wait until Tuesday and I really do fear for Kim Wexler.

I think they are guilty on balance, but I'm amazed the jury managed to come to a verdict beyond reasonable doubt given the circumstances of the case.

I think the judge probably agrees with you given he didn't send them to prison.

Great series though, really enjoyed it.

Doctored evidence and the word of the shows producer being sure they cheated,!

I'm pleased with the series... you feel they left your mind up to say if they were innocent or not. Personally I think there both guilty and they would have got away with it... if the husband wasn't such an idiot on the show. I think at the time the reason at the lot of public disliked them straight away was because I think the public were unhappy that a snobby family who seem to be already well off managed to win a million. Michael Sheen as usual great performance and possibily didn't see enough of him.

Mad that ITV would produce that, then end it with them looking innocent.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Charles and Diana were portrayed in a very positive light considering it was an ITV show

I'm surprised the jury could definitively say they were guilty based on the evidence presented

It is if the court case was actually what happened, 194 coughs during the show and some of them on the wrong answers!

Been looking for a new sitcom for a while, just started Parks & Recreation.

Took a while but gotten into it now. Anything with Rashida Jones is watchable too.

Mate seasons 3/4/5 of Parks and Rec are up there with the best comedy of all time imqho.

Annoyingly one of those shows you can recommend to folk but the first season is, by a country mile, the worst of the lot - thankfully it's only half a dozen episodes if I remember right. Rashida is unbelievable.

Don't know if you'd have ever watched it but Silicon Valley might be up your street in all, different to P&R but equally brilliant.
