Wymsey Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 I was joking. Considering some posters make 'reactionary' comments (like mine here), I'd thought that I should make one to see if anyone thinks my comment was 'ott'. I won't do it again.

kingfox Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Is this old headed man signed yet? It's getting to the point where it becomes frustrating, and I might have to turn him into one of my victims.
Dan Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Ahh, I see; Pearson is signing a lot of defenders as so when we score first, we just defend and not get anymore goals (eg. 1-0, 2-0 at the most). Typical Pearson. Ahh, I see; moaning because we might win games 1-0 or 2-0. What the hell is wrong with people
jock2612 Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Is this still on,or has it been pulled because of the Popov situation.
Jobyfox Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 I see Forest have managed to sign a PL centre back on loan - Sam Hutchinson from Chelsea. They are beginning to get on my ****ing nerves!

Guest MattP Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Ahh, I see; moaning because we might win games 1-0 or 2-0. What the hell is wrong with people Winning everyweek 2-0, get the bastard out.
Babylon Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 I see Forest have managed to sign a PL centre back on loan - Sam Hutchinson from Chelsea. They are beginning to get on my ****ing nerves! Premier league centre back is stretching it a bit as he's made 5 appearances in 5 years.
whoareyaaa Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Premier league centre back is stretching it a bit as he's made 5 appearances in 5 years. I can't believe you banned me for 48hours ... its alright for you to give it out with the Solako comment and thecaveman logic but when you get called a ****in idiot you feel insulted when you are implying the same thing to me.
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 Don't think it's gone through yet. Shit, we need more players. According to The Birch, St Ledger is 4 weeks ahead of schedule for his return from injury. On the boot room earlier this evening. I'm not panicking. Yet.

5waller5 Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 He isn't signing lots of defenders, he's signed two (Whitbread and Higginbotham) and sold two (Mills and Bamba). We sold Peltier and replaced him with De Laet. So that's three in, three out. A difference of nil. Released Tunchev as well.
m00nie Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 only worry is we could be chopping and changing the defence a bit.. would have preferred we built a regular back 4
foxes1988 Posted 16 August 2012 Posted 16 August 2012 I can't see us chopping and changing anywhere near as much as last season. I actually think Moore wont play that much for this season. He will only play when we have injuries and suspensions. Our full backs will remain the same for the majority of the season and the centre back pairing will remain pretty much the same with just some changes here and there. Our defence will be more like when pearson was here first time round he barely changed the defence then. If there was one thing i think Pearson did wrong ast seas it was switching the defence to much although we can hardly blame him solely for that.

foxfanazer Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 No comment! Thats the best contribution I've seen you make to a discussion
Grey Fox Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 From the Merc: Had Moore suffered damage, then City's central-defensive options would have stretched to the limit. It has led to reports linking them with a loan bid for Stoke's Danny Higginbotham. Pearson said: "There is always going to be speculation, especially when there is talk about us getting thin on the ground in certain positions, but there is nothing to talk about. "We will not necessarily do anything at the moment, but we'll address any situation as it comes along." http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/moore-merrier-city-s-big-clash/story-16726512-detail/story.html Looks like this wont be happening in time for posh then?
sdb Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 De Laet - Morgan - Higginbotham - Konchesky that's a very reliable back 4 in this league. Fingers crossed.
MGLCFC Posted 17 August 2012 Posted 17 August 2012 Perhaps we won't sign Higginbotham now that it's out in the open - Pearson likes to sign players on the quiet. However if De Laet Morgan Whitbread Higginbotham ever played together, all the defenders would be over 6 foot - Stoke version 2
