goose2010 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 only 27 really did think he was older than that! seems of been around for ever!
coolhandfox Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Sven signed a lot of dross in he's time at City, but one thing we can thank him for is the signing of Nugent! 29 league goals in 69 games for City at an impressive rate of a goal every 2.3 games combined with a great work rate. Top player!
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Not only a good player who is indispensible to us, but also a great guy. Always has a smile on his face. Met him a lot of times, and he never rejects an autograph or photo for anyone.
Carl the Llama Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Wood, unlike Peter Odemwingie, is a former West Brom striker.

Corky Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 The commentators on Sky were talknig just after his goal, saying that goalscorers like him cost the most. Yet we didn't pay a transfer fee
Guest BlueBrett Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 27!? That has to be a joke. Did he spend a few years in Nigeria as a child?
The Blur Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 I loved how the majority of the article was spared to Leicester then there is a paragraph on Wolves which looked like it is added as an afterthought.
Bayfox Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 27!? That has to be a joke. Did he spend a few years in Nigeria as a child? He is the love child of Kanu and Yakubu.Don't ask me how that works.

Steve_Walsh5 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 My friend is a Leeds fan and whenever he sees him play he always comments on how he's the best striker outside the premiership.
Captain... Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 I genuinely thought that him saying he was '27 and about to hit his peak' was him taking the piss, but unless he has changed his Wikipedia said too, then it must be true. I honestly thought he was early thirties.
Simmo86 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Can't believe he's only
Bert Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Just hope that he stays here for more years to come! Only a year left on his deal I think.
dmayne7 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Shocked that most of you didn't know he was only 27! Pretty sure his birthday is in May (2nd maybe) so it still means he has another 2 full seasons before he hits 30. Still has lots more to offer us and I think he'll play an important role in any future success we have. Edit: Just checked his birthday and it is the 2nd May; what a sad act I am! Do you know anything about getting a contract renewal or do you think our only chance of him extending is if we get promoted?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 I'm more surprised that his never scored 20 plus in a season, seem to recall him being prolific for PNE.
Charl91 Posted 4 February 2013 Share Posted 4 February 2013 Dissapointed. Checked my post, but I hadn't received a Nugent in the mail

Langston Posted 5 February 2013 Share Posted 5 February 2013 I think he'd renew even if we were in the Championship should we be consistently challenging, obviously wage depending.
