StanSP Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 If only. He's a decent player at this level, at times, he hasn't showm nuch of it since NFP came back. Izzet performed week in, wek out and in The Premier. Good job I said 'well on the way' and not currently at the same standard. Learn to read, people. Learn to read.
hackneyfox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Good job I said 'well on the way' and not currently at the same standard. Learn to read, people. Learn to read. I did and I'll say it again, he performs every now and again in the second division whilst Muzzy did it week in, week out in The Premier. He's not currently at the same level, well on the way to or ever likely to be as good as Muzzy. He's playing for a team that is top 6 in the second at best whereas Muzzy played for a team that were top 10 Premier for 4 seasons.
ScouseFox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I mean really, I cannot get my head around the fact that not everyone who supports us is absolutely in love with Kingy. What is there not to like? He's my hero. I love you Andy.
kingfox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Did I see Ryan McGivern get an assist amongst that lot. Cracking Vid though.
Poznan34 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I love that goal vs Derby where he points where he wants the ball from Wellens.
ScouseFox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 As for a favourite nah that's impossible. But if he was more famous that goal away at Cov would have gone viral and still be shown in highlight clips and montages today. What a fúcking outrageous finish. Class celebration too. Just gave the whole home end a look that clearly said "did you just see that?! I'm so much fúcking better than any of you".
dave_the_fox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Great vid Davie. The reason Andy king gets stick on here is because they all listened to that guy on the radio who judges the performances on the amount of times stringer mentions his name.
Corky Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Remember reading a match programme when he was the youngster in focus (about a year before he was given his debut) and they talked a lot about his finishing and presence in the opposition area. Some truly delightful goals in there that would grace any level.

Have to agree, Muzzy also had the set-piece taking quality than King doesn't (or isn't allowed to show? ) which gave us countless goals a season as well as his own scoring ability. Doubt we'll see a player like him at the club for a long time with such a varied impact on the team.
RobHawk Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Love the S4C commentary on 3 mins! Really Welshes it up for him!
Fox92 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Not sure about my favourite, still enjoy the Scunthorpe away goal. All of them are smart finishers though, and if that was a Premier League player, they'd be all over the media.
Bugg Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 His goal against Leeds has got to be my favourite, although that ridiculous lob against Barnsley runs a close 2nd.
Corky Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 50 goals scored and only one of them you could say was down to a keeper error. Brilliant finishing.
NathanC93 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 What an absolute class act. Love that he is still in the team week in week out after a lot of years at the club. Anyone else notice how many came from Gallagher's crosses? A LOT
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 what a goal his first ever was, I remember it well out of nowhere one bit of magic in a cold, shit game that we still went on to lose people who moan about the team nowadays must have very short memories cause fook me we were dreadful back then! I remember those days very well... I agree, if anything we should let our egos go a bit and just get behind the team, no need for all the extra pressure we put on them, especially when you look at the average age of the team. Well done Andy King

tylesta Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 you missed this classy finish davie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKiE6Qe4pGY
jonthefox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 the soundtrack on this is absolutely incredible. Exactly what i thought.
AKCJ Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 "Debutant Jermaine Beckford doing the hard work..." lol lol
Haydos Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 What an absolute class act. Love that he is still in the team week in week out after a lot of years at the club. Anyone else notice how many came from Gallagher's crosses? A LOT Was gonna say this, he is capable of putting in a decent ball.
Jimmy Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 more headers then I realised, he has such a great shot from distance on him I wish he'd have a crack from 25 yards more often
Dan Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 That goal against Scunthorpe is absolutely world class.
