Guest Bilo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Embarrassing result. Really should have had enough to beat a League Two side.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He's gotta go. No excuse for this. Picking his own son to play in the first team?! Lennon/Moyes/Martin Allen/Rob Kelly in.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Fair play to Shrewsbury. Sounds like they wanted it more and full deserved the win. That was against a relatively strong team of ours too. I'll always try to stay positive and we have had an awful lot to be positive about in the last year or so, but that really isn't good enough. It's a shame. Lets hope we can get this out of our system because we need to be right on our game for Arsenal on Sunday.
Jimmy Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 meh not buying into the RL doomsday spin, probably too much to ask 2 kids to start in CM in hindsight, Knocky hasn't started the season well at all
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Shrewsbury played well, well done, we were disappointing but hopefully we can move on from this. Not new losing such matches, we have done well in seasons where we have
Brooksy Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 What happened to my thread! Disgraceful, sack the board.
Corky Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Oh dear, what a pitiful episode. One chance of Wembley gone. None of this "concentrate on the league" bollocks, this is an appalling result.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Bad. Very bad. Important we at least give a good account of ourselves Sunday now. If we take a hammering the Everton result will seem like an awful long time ago.
Master Fox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Discontent is BACK! Booo......after the final whistle. Not heard that for a while.
Benji Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Do whatever it takes this week to buy one or two central midfielders. These injuries have killed us. King and Hammond would ordinarily have started tonight.
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Who gives a shit a cup run isn't our priority, the amount of booing at the final whistle is embarrassing, some players had there chance today and didn't take it however lets not get on our teams back, instead look forward to arsenal on Sunday !!
CosbehFox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Difficult to defend that result. I'm well in the category of the cup isn't a priority this season but we should have enough to see off Shrewsbury. Needed a win to keep a positivity. Hope Pearson comes out with a decent enough post match interview. Cos he will have people moaning already. However, I am more embarrassed for the series of over reactions we will have and fans what say 'I'm embarrassed', this is football it's what happens. Show some humility and say well done Shrewsbury.
BigWesMorgan Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Coming out the ground. Knockaert absolutely woeful. Konchesky back to his poor self. Pearson was pretty bad. GTF never really offers anything. Moore was pretty good.
Stevosevic Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Awful. Whether people care or not, it's awful.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Well if memory serves me right, the reason on here (excuses?) given for crashing out last season was because we were going for promotion. This season, I presume it's because we want to retain our Premiership status? It's a far cry since MON and doing both.. Ie staying in the Prem and winning cups. Poor night..again shows our lack of depth IMO.
