Harry - LCFC Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Forest deemed him not good enough. And all of them have now changed their mind about him. What Forest fans thought of him a years ago is actually fairly meaningless now. It's clear he's a totally different player to what he was before.
Bettsj2 Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Forest deemed him not good enough. Some Forest fans claimed that John Terry was dogshit after his loan spell. Forest fans are 94% spastic (verified) so really wouldnt listen to what they have to say.

ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 I do remember a lot of fans moaning when we signed a supposedly "washed up" Tony Cottee... Give the guy a chance! Cottee cost £500,000 .... slightly different.
weller54 Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=42073 All on here.. Forest fans are jumped up (even more than normally) as their two bit team have made a decent start to the season!!... We'll see where they are come Feb /March.. Mid table, with yet another Manager in tow!!.. Pearce will be long gone by then!!
Candidcamera Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 He has been out for months because of a knee injury commentator said that was one of the reasons Ipswich missed out on a play off place. Last week-end he was in the match v Norwich and he was the pivotal player for all that was good and clearly will get better as he makes his come back. He is not like any of the ones quoted he is more like Ulloa than Wood. He will want to take the free kicks near the box and looked a cultured player. He is taller than Nugent, I think. I can only say what I saw.

hesapeepingtom Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 I'm positive the fee will not be 8 million, maybe 5 tops,we pay 8 million for this we may as well have added another 4 and bought deeney
absolutelegend Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Don't know much about him but sounds a lot of cash. At the end of the day I trust nige.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Not good enough. What the hell is going on!
fox_favourite Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Not sure it's been asked or posted, but am I right in thinking he can play on the wing as well? Is he left footed by any chance? I think it's a lot of money. I don't really rate him. I would rather loan a promising Prem player than sign him
MHC Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Not good enough. What the hell is going on! Yep. Just had a look at his career history and his record is atrocious. I Would still ask questions of this even if we were in the Championship, I don't think I can be sold on him either. Don't want him.
HankMarvin Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 interesting post from Ipswich fans http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/25692/mcgoldrick-%C3%828m-leicester-target
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Would give us more options but as a lot of others have said the price is a bit iffy
Fox 4 Life Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 It is not 8 million. Quite a few sources saying it is

I Would still ask questions of this even if we were in the Championship, I don't think I can be sold on him either. Don't want him. his scoring record at cov in league 1 was incredible. At Ipswich last season was more than acceptable. if the past couple of seasons are atrocious, I'm not sure what you would consider to be good?? Vardy has had one good season at professional level yet no one here would accept less than 10 mill for him.
Jon the Hat Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Its probably £8M if we win the PL. Tractor boys seem pretty pissed off which can only be a good sign. Then again they have been shite for as long as we were so who can blame them. They have my sympathy!!

Vardy has had one good season at professional level yet no one here would accept less than 10 mill for him. He scored 16 goals in 22 games in the third tier, and 14 from 31 in the second tier. Before that his record is awful. Fryatt had a similar record to that with us between 2008-2010, he was also pretty awful before as well. Would you say he is worth 8 million? Not keen on this one at all. I think we should be able to do better, hopefully this is another "McArthur", where we use him as bait to get a different, better player, to sign up.
Master Fox Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Chris Wood in the away end at Ipswich according to their fans. http://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/316547/chris-wood-was-in-the-away-end-today-with-alan-lee/#3 I do feel for them. We know how it feels.
65RosesFox Posted 30 August 2014 Posted 30 August 2014 Just looks like someone who is as unfortunate in the nose department as Wood that's all.
