lee7 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 This has also turned into a must win! If we lose or draw this then I think Pearsons time will be up. The only problem we face then is bringing in a manager knowing that we are playing man city and Chelsea with likely defeats! That would sap the confidence out of the new manager straight away.

No point sacking NP with the aim of 'new manager' lift if you start with two defeats ahead of games recognised as more easily winnable IF, NP was to be replaced, it should be after those games
benpicko Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 We're get ****ed by at least 3 goals. Wes will start, Schwarzer will start, Vardy will start. Kramaric to score and celebrate by lifting his shirt asking for offers from good clubs. inb4 the only change pearson makes is vardy for kramaric
EnglishOxide Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 --------------Hamer------------- --RDL----Wasyl----Huth----Upson----Schluup-- ------James---Hammond---Cambiasso----- -----------------Nugent---------------- ----------------Kramaric--------------- Schwarzer and Morgan dropped (hopefully) Hammond to give us that extra steel and help us retain possession. RDL and Schluup providing the width. Nuge and Kramaric working tirelessly together up front. I know this means dropping Mahrez but he can have no complaints after his Villa performance.
m4DD0gg Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 I would go all out attack, everton are in switzerland thursday evening and never play well the following league match.
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Wonder what the atmosphere will be like if we concede first. Villa atmosphere was very anti pearson
Fox 4 Life Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Is this on sky? Edit just looked at the listings!
Ricey Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Hamer Simpson - Huth - Wasilewski - Schlupp Hammond Cambiasso - James Albrighton Mahrez Kramaric
Matt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Oh shit, just noticed/realised this is on TV...more public humiliation then
Webbo Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Hamer Simpson - Huth - Wasilewski - Schlupp Hammond Cambiasso - James Albrighton Mahrez Kramaric You'd move one of our most threatening players to left back?
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Hamer Huth----Upson----Was De Laet ------------------------ Jeff Cambiasso- ----James Mahrez------ -----------------Albrighton Kramaric Please lets just try and play positive football for ****ing once. Best 11 players we have playing positions that suit. More like the MON back 3/5
cc_star Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Oh shit, just noticed/realised this is on TV...more public humiliation then If it was on BBC they'd just show Tim Sherwood's face for the 90mins
kyleolly Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Hamer De Laet Huth Upson Konchesky Hammond Cambiasso Mahrez Krameric Ulloa Wood

Finn Claw II Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Hamer RDL Wasyl Huth Konchesky Hammond James Cambiasso Mahrez Albrighton Kramaric This side. I like Sclupp's pace but Albrighton is a better passer of the ball. Upson vs. Was is a big call though. I'd be tempted with Upson again because his distribution is better.
ADK Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 This match is very winnable. Everton have an aged defence who leak goals and will have played a match more recently than us. I think Barry is suspended too. We absolutely need to keep a high tempo for the whole match, stamina has been a major problem for Everton and we must press them constantly as we can out work them here. We can't afford to play 5 at the back and allow them possession and to control the tempo. We need to get the balance between energy and a sprinkling of quality and attack from the off even if we risk conceding a goal because we could get 2 or 3 no problem with the right approach. Get Cambiasso to play those long diagonals from the start, doesn't matter if a few go wrong, make their defenders work from the off. Baines can't get forward if he's pinned back defending. Doesn't matter if we hoof it the odd time so long as our key players perform. Bring Vardy on if either Nugent or Kramaric tire. Bring Albrighton on if Schlupp or Mahrez tire. Bring Drinkwater on if Cambiasso is out of gas. We can't afford to let the tempo drop, it's the one advantage we should hold over them. We need to stick to the game plan and believe it will work.
Matt Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 This match is very winnable. Definite loss then.
billyn88 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Going of course as always. A proper gluten for punishment. Surely he can't keep his bum boy Schwarzer in again!!!!! Especially if you're coeliac.
jmono84 Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 GK: Hamer RCB: Wasyl CB: Huth LCB: Upson RWB: De Laet LWB: Schlupp RCM: James CDM: Hammond LCM: Cambiasso CAM: Mahrez ST: Kramaric Would like to see this... I like the idea of having 3 solid, good in the air CB's, pace/energy in abundance on wings, more central players in't middle able to play a controlled passing game and Kramaric who looks decent when in and around the oppositions box... I kno we won't see it tho
orbison Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Sadly I agree the owners seem to love him too much. So Team Sheet- 4-4-2 Hamer De Laet Wasileswki Upson Konchesky Hammond James Mahrez Albrighton Kramaric Nugent Bench: Schwarzer, Moore, Cambiasso, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Vardy & Ulloa. st albans fox Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 this team looks the best i have seen suggested on this forum, shame pearson does not recognise players with ability, productive movement and energy, combined with ball skills. But you still only have two in central midfield which means no quality possession and the movement is all our boys running about like headless chickens trying to close down spaces they have no chance of doing. If you are proposing that team 4-2-3-1 then I could consider it a decent shout
crisp packet Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Nuge or rihad in a no 10 role Plus 2 up! Rather go down with a fight ....
Jobyfox Posted 16 February 2015 Posted 16 February 2015 Nuge or rihad in a no 10 role Plus 2 up! Rather go down with a fight .... I really like that team actually with either Nugent or Mahrez - but could you imagine the fall out on here if we lost and Nuge was picked over Mahrez? Another possibility I'd that Mahrez plays behind Krammy and Nuge instead of Ulloa. Plenty of flexibility in attack and Krammy not isolated.
