Wolves forward Bakary Sako hints at summer move to Leicester WOLVES forward Bakary Sako admits he is considering a summer move to the Premier League.

Leicester City have reportedly been keeping tabs on the Mali international this term and have been impressed by his 14 goals and seven assists.

The Foxes are expected to make a summer bid for the 27-year-old, and Sako admits he'd be interested should they retain their top-flight status.

Nigel Pearson's side are currently sit 17th in the Premier League standings with three games to go.

"I have been pleased with my season but I was really sad too because I don't know what I'm going to do during the summer," he said

"I've got to play some games for Mali and so we'll see after that. I have some offers from the Premier League and some from abroad, but I want to play in the Premier League.

"I have offers from abroad but I'm not looking at them at the moment - I want to play in England."

There's absolutely nothing in that article from him to say he's hinting at a move to Leicester.

Such a non-story.

Not gonna outright say no but on first thoughts I wouldn't be keen, should we survive we need to improve, ALOT, the players we have have improved in the last month or so but the a fair few of them need replacing and improving. We currently have too many '(quality) championship standard' players here, in Sako I fear we'd be signing another one.

don't think he's as good as schlupp, nor as young, nor as versatile. nor would he be a very good back up.

Always thought he was a bit McGugan / Gallagher / Boyd (scoring the odd pearler but not consistent enough bar that) - but that's a very fair amount of goals. Don't pay too much attention to the Championship though so no idea if he's actually any good, just going off stats aren't we.

To summarise - I DON'T KNOW.

However given the system we seem to have adopted with real success I'd sooner see us in for someone like Daniel Wass who's been told he can move on; Stoke and Everton interested, Danish international - €2million quoted. Chaps at FFW seem to think whoever lands him is getting a bloody bargain.

I'm genuinely not sure about this one.

I'd have snapped your hand off for him last season, and he's had another good season this year, but I can't help wondering why other clubs haven't sniffed around him at 27.

I think I would take him, has had a good couple of seasons and when fit is a machine.

Would have to see what else is out there but I wouldn't be disappointed with Sako, he's a good strong all rounder.

14 goals is decent, thought it was Dicko & Afobe doing all the work at Wolves.

Wouldn't want him though, with the way Wolves fans have described him in the past he could be N'Guessan the 2nd. 27 years old as well, if we want Championship players I'd rather get potential like Demarai Gray & Alex Mowatt.

Good player but I'd like us to set our sights a little higher if we stay up and get some proven talent.

Oh God, I used the word 'proven' I'm having transfer talk flashbacks of horror.

Given knockaert will be on his way, this is an upgrade in my opinion. We won't pay him that though

I'm more bothered about CB, LB and someone to play next to cambiasso

Is he actually better than what we already have?

If not then it will just be a waste of cash and a squad place.

No thanks. One left foot and we've got that. He played in League One and still no other club wanted him. We can do better, especially if we stay up.

No thanks. We already have a decent squad. We should only be buying players that will improve us and I don't see anyone in our starting line up who he is an improvement on. Need to be aiming for a few quality game changer players. This season if you took out Eriksen and kane from spurs they would have been in the relegation battle.
