Well actually I was sarcastically quoting ...    oh never mind.

But if you were being sarcastic then how can we be expanding the East Stand in June?

Just out of interest. How many members do we have ?.

Average attendance - away support - females = Total members

For me we need to increase another 10,000 seats.

Many people are missing out on season tickets...myself included.

Its not that I/we won't go week in week out at home the difference is because I/we can't!

I would happily pay the £40 odd pounds a month DD for a season ticket.

I do begrudge in some cases £40/50 for one match.

The demand has been there for a few seasons now and doesn't look like decreasing any time soon, even a poor Premier League Campaign sells out at pretty much 95+ percent capacity.

I think the owners are just happy with how things are, and won't increase as it doesn't make business sense for them to maybe on a £££ perspective.

There surely needs to be some movement on this over the course of next season else there never will be a right time to extend, Then when will be a right time???

It always makes good business sense to expand, whatever the business. You always have to have  more capacity than your current needs. In this case what would happen if we got cl again and demand for tickets were to further increase. All it would do is compound the problems we have now with a lack of spare capacity. Eventually we would stagnate and not grow as a club, the money it would cost to the increase the size of the ground is immaterial as it would eventually pay for itself. The owners can only lose out if we lost the revenue from sky.

I wish they would get on with it

It's a ball ache trying to get tickets every other week

In the words of Kevin Costner "If you build it they will come"

I was hearing at the last game of the season that work to increase the stadium will start this winter building up the outside of the east stand just like liverpool did, then at the end of 2017/18 season the roof is to be lifted off, also the gas site that the club purchased opposite the east stand is to be made into a multi storey carpark.

As as been mentioned many times, as far as we know:

- no application for planning permission has been sought yet

- if and when an application is made, it will take several months to be considered

- there is no guarantee that it would be approved given that the club failed to comply with planning restrictions last time round

Just get it done, the construction costs will be peanuts in today's game- there's zero risk of financial ruin like last time.

What's the worst that can happen? We go down and have the top tier closed? That's no issue, the capacity will be there for the next time we get promoted- look at the demand for season tickets before the 2014/15 season.

Having a 40,000 seater would put us in the same category as the next group down  from the 'elite', and can only be a good thing. We would fill it regularly in this division.

I think the fact it will separate us from the stokes& west broms etc is important in our campaign to staying in the premier league for as long as possible.

This.

I've said it before on here. But if people honestly want to us move forward as a club we need to expand we could easily fill the ground plus you've got a catchment area of what MK to Stoke, the other side of bormignham to the other side of Petberborough that's a massive area for a potential future fan base if we do well in the League, cups and Europe(potentially) again...
