Kramaric

It's plainly obvious to me that he's unable to make as much impact as he could do because he hasn't got a left foot. Everything is taken on his right foot to the point where he tried that chip with his right (acceptable effort given the circumstances) where a top class striker would have buried it on his left.

Got to work on that left peg if you want to make at the top level in Europe Andrej.

How many Croatian players have actually proved a success in the premiership? Very few. I imagine we will end up selling him for about 3 million quid or something.

Just out of confidence atm.

Wouldn't be totally adverse to seeing him get some game time in the Championship.

THIS.

Loan him out to a top half Championship team and get him scoring goals.

He is way out of his depth at the moment and needs a massive confidence boost to get going.

The lad is clearly capable and unlike tonight normally finds himself in good positions (tonight really was awful, just ****ing floating about), but until he finds his scoring boots he's going to waste away on the bench, inevitably crushing him further to the point where he'll end up totally useless like a chocolate teapot.

I've said it all along, unless there is a massive improvement in his game I can't see him reaching the potential he supponsingly has.

If he was a league One player we bought or a lad through the academy he would of been slated on here for not being good enough but because of his price tag and the hype everyone look at him through rose tinted glasses.

He is too one sided, does the same pull back skill and I'm sick of him trying terrible chips towards goals... Someone should probably remind him of Kermo.

I honestly hope I'm wrong and he does come good but atm I just can't see it

I thought he showed flashes of class. His weakness in our team is a lack of pace. He certainly looks after the ball better than Okazaki has in the last few games. That chip was a bad idea though...

He looks bad.

Really bad.

Really? Or does he look like a player who is low on confidence and away from his family?

His biggest problem is what's been said 100's of times, skilful but not as quick as Vardy, not as industrious as Shinji and not as physical as Ulloa.

What I don't get with him though is his positioning, rarely ever in the box!

He has oodles of ability, that much is obvious when he turns it on, he just seems to have some sort of mental block at the moment.  If there's any group of lads that can impart the willpower to capitalise on that talent it's surely our lot, I'd keep him as a sub option and send Dodoo on loan to the Ch'ship.  He's another one with clear ability to be tapped into who's not really got the first team experience Kram has from his time in Croatia.

Thought he was well off the pace, just seem to drift in and out of the game. Felt a bit sorry for him as Ulloa didn't help him at all.

Krameric and Ulloa did nothing to push themselves forward. Well behind Vardy and Okasaki.

he was solid, but we always need a scapegoat

he really wasn't lol

I spent a great deal of time watching his involvement and it amounted to very little.

solid it was not.

I get your point.

However, a League One player or an academy lad wouldn't regularly be picked (and wouldn't have scored three goals in six internationals) for a country that features in World Cups and Euros – and be chased by Chelsea.

We saw flashes of what he can do last season. Strikers are funny creatures, all to do with confidence. There are plenty of "one sided" goal machines throughout history and I for one haven't given up on Kramaric coming good.

The most frustrating thing of his performance today ("chip" aside) was the fact that he wasn't gambling to get in the box. He'd just be drifting around the edge of the area, not doing much. One incident stands out where he had the ball on the edge of the box and played it out to Albrighton. Albrighton does what Albrighton does, which is get it on to his right foot and swing it into the box, so why on earth was Kramaric just stood on the edge of the box rather than giving himself a chance of getting on the end of it?

His confidence is just shot at the moment and I'm not sure if we can give him the game time needed for him to get it up again. He shows some great touches and technique (that stepover in the build-up to his big chance was class) but he doesn't offer enough all round.
