I thought the goal music was particularly loud today for the 2nd and 3rd goals, not sure if it was just me?

lol we score a goal and you're listening out for the goal music?

I'm all over the shop when we score, the last thing on my mind is a snippet of 'fire' that we've had now for about 6 years.

Pissed me off how he was slowly drumming to ohhh islam slimani at some points which made everyone clap slowly.

Didn't hear it, haven't done for a long while to be fair.

Like you, can't remember the last time I heard the drum, which says a lot.

I'm the same. Just happened to notice it louder for the first and second goals today.

That stand up for the champions chant is so overused. I don't even know why, but it really grates on me lol

I was at where it started, it seems to really spread doesn't it? It's probably the only song we have at the moment, which the whole crowd keep in time with.

More embarrassing was when L block sang 'champions of England you'll never be that' at the burnley fans.

Talk about cringing, if they're going to sing that they need to do a bit of homework and see who has actually won the top flight.

Ok, it was a long long time ago but they've been champions and you can't take that away from them, rightly so they gave them some back with 'we've won it twice'.

Slightly underwhelming atmosphere today I thought. Noticed the drummer in SK1 had changed...top marks for effort, must be annoying banging away on it for 90 mins, however the rythm and tune was awful! Broke up most of the chants just as they began.lol

Can we have our regular drummer back next week please?

To be fair.  His timing for under the lights was nice and steady yet by the time sk2 joined in.

They had ran away with it and it broke up as we had 2 sections next to each other singing at 2 speeds.

Why the **** can't people keep pace. It worked perfectly well in brugge.

As for it being a little flat. I noticed a few gaps today. So I'm assuming a few in sk1 missed the game and those that did make it admitted they were a little tired still from brugge and to be fair to them rightly so. I went Tuesday to Thursday and am still well behind on sleep lol.

A lot of the ufs lads did it in about 36 hours round trip on a coach. With no sleep. Sure we will all be back in fine voice for Porto.

The Champions of England chant, and any chant associated with it is ultimate cringe.

We will turn into insufferable twats if we keep singing it

Burnley fans were chanting about being Champions of...the Championship and I believe that was before we mentioned anything about being Champions/Champions of England.

When we went 3 nil up I noticed loads of fans around me more or less give up. It was as if they thought the games wrapped up so I can't be bothered now. Surely this is the time to go even more.

Some clubs still sing about winning titles 40 years ago, why shouldn't we carry on whilst we are the current champions? Or do songs have a time limit?

Leeds still sing about losing the european cup final 40 years ago but some of our fans don't want to sing about something that happened 4 months ago lol We are champions of England, we may never be so again - enjoy it while it lasts.

And also, who is to say for sure?

Precisely why it's moronic, Chelsea sung it at us 12 months before we won the league... smacks of the sort of arrogance that we're not about imo.

Singing about being champions is great, 'Champions of England, you'll never sing that' is usually moronic.

In some cases I wouldn't mind it. If we played Coventry for example, given our past with them and the FA Cup stuff we've heard, I'd be quite happy to belt out about being champions and them not.

Doing it to the likes of West Ham and Southampton doesn't really interest me however.

'Champions of England you'll never sing that' is ok at the likes of Hull who have never won anything. But singing it to teams who have a rich history - ie Burnley - is stupid. Served us right when they came back singing they've won it twice.
