Seems a few years ago he’d moved into property and was working as an estate agent.

Thought of some others from way back: Murray Brodie - scored on his Debut - went to Aldershot and is still looked on as one of their greatest players ever. David Tearse - think he scored on Debut, too (went to Torquay) Joe Waters - think he scored two screamers on his debut at QPR (?) Malcolm Partridge - bought from Mansfield for big money (at the time!) Joe Jopling - also big signing - hardly played.
