Merging Cultures Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Cape Town. But I know when we finish in Zambia we are probably going back to the DC area.
benpicko Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 First back to England because I hate Canada, and then I'd like to go somewhere in France
The Doctor Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I'd love to retire to Italy, just have a nice vineyard in Sicily or something like that.
VLC86 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Austria, Northern Italy or Canada for me. Be careful what you wish for in north Italy cracking scenery but very different to England. Vancouver area or North Sweden for me. Both incredibly places and you could get by without mastering the language (in Sweden obviously)
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I'd love to go to Aus.. One thing would genuinely put me off. I have a phobia (as in a proper one) of spiders. And there's some big sods in Aus apparently? It's even putting me off holidaying there.

bovril Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Little shack in Canada would be nice but I don't like flying.

Both incredibly places and you could get by without mastering the language (in Sweden obviously) I've been there a few times and love it, although life could get too slow at some points - I'll settle for a holiday home in the mountains tbh. Living in Germany at the moment so wont be too much of a shock. First back to England because I hate Canada, and then I'd like to go somewhere in France Why do you hate Canada
theessexfox Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Would like to travel South America and live in Germany.
VLC86 Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 Yeah they're everywhere. You sit down to watch TV and in minutes you're covered in massive spiders. Sounds no different to Costock to be honest, my house is riddled with the bastards.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I'd love to live in the US at some point, I'd do a good tour of the whole place before I settled. When I retire, South of France or Santorini for me. Well relaxed places
Vacamion Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 New Zealand. After the apocalypse, New Zealand folk will be fighting the mutated cockroaches for mastery of the planet, so New Zealand it is, then.
Jattdogg Posted 18 October 2015 Posted 18 October 2015 I like it here in Canada. Id like to spend some time in Vancouver and Montreal though. Greater toronto area is nice but a switch up would be fun. Outside of Canada i'd have to say my inlaws homeland of Trinidad (if it didnt have kidnapping and stickup issues like it currently does). Back in England so i could live closer to my older brother and catch more leicester games.
Guest Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Might end up in Madeira. Simply because the temp is always around 20-25 - so not too hot or too cold. Can still leave with a view of the sea in a european country (for health etc... reasons) and the daylight is good.
MC Prussian Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Vancouver and Montréal for me. Both excellent cities in terms of scenery and culture. VanCity's got the beach, Montréal the language and the slightly better music scene.
leicsmac Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 New England, Stateside. Actually happening - probably late next year.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Spain undoubtedly, and not an 'expat' area which is full of people born in Essex Australia 2nd choice
