Len Finsbury Posted 24 November 2015 Posted 24 November 2015 I'm in Edinburgh and no one gives a toss about English football! Now if he was called McVardy...
ScouseFox Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 "manuel pellegrini has agreed with arsenal manager arsene wenger and manchester united manager van gaal by stating leicester should be considered genuine title challengers" things you thought youd never hear on sky sports news part #34323
Brooksy Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Top of the prem and everyone everywhere is talking about us, this isn't real is it?
KP Fox Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 When we go into the Champions league I want us to do so automatically. Don't wanna do that qualification nonsense which would remind me too much of recent play off nightmares
steflcfc Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Although I don't feel we will finish in the top 4, the longer the English sides are in the CL and Europa League, as we don't have this midweek distraction, this could work in our favour to keeping the momentum for top 6.
Izzy Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Top of the prem and everyone everywhere is talking about us, this isn't real is it? It's unreal. But it's fvckin brilliant. I'm loving every minute of it. Played golf with a Chelsea, Arsenal ans Spurs fan today and I was giving it the massive big un much to their dislike. I'm milking this for all its worth. Enjoy it while it lasts folks...
Vacamion Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 I'm in Edinburgh and no one gives a toss about English football! Now if he was called McVardy... This doesn't match my experiences up here. A lot of people I only vaguely know at work have approached me over the last week giving it "Whit aboot they Foxes, eh?*". [* this is the local patois and is roughly equivalent to "Oooooooooh, look at Leicester"]
Górnik Leicester Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 This time last season we had 10 points, and picked up a further 31 until the end of the season. If we pick up another 31 points, we will be on 59 - enough for an eighth-placed finish for the last three seasons, while it would have put us sixth in 2010/11 and 2011/12.
foxfanazer Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Does anybody know how many points we had after 14 games of our promotion season?
filbertstreet Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Does anybody know how many points we had after 14 games of our promotion season? end of week 14, 32 according to wikipedia - apparently pearson also played ranieri in the preseason
st albans fox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Apparently WBA under Steve Clarke had 26 points from 13 before sinking down to mid table finish. if we lose against the top 6 sides then it will be an anti climax now. It shouldn't be but that's the price of expectation. whatever happens, we must be vocal behind the team to help keep their confidence up. If it seems that we still believe then hopefully they will aswell.
Matt Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Just 20 months ago Leicester couldn't beat Yeovil and just look what has happened to those two clubs since 25th March 2015.
Clever Fox Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Don't you just feel the love for Leicester at the minute.
Sir Shep Posted 28 November 2015 Posted 28 November 2015 Bin this, second now, feeling depressed, couldn't even beat Man U, utterly rubbish, boo. I'll take second
tom27111 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 It's back in our hands! I think we can win this
ajthefox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Unreal. Can't believe we're top again. When was the last time we were top twice in a season on separate occasions? Under Taylor it was just for one game wasn't it?
Saxondale Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 We are class. I tell you what's doing my head in at the minute: these beefwit pundits and armchair pundits saying that Leicester being top of the league says more about the quality of the opposition. It's just completely awful logic. So, every year when some boring bastards like Chelsea are top, the quality of the opposition is tremendous. Now we're high-flying, suddenly everybody else is terrible. Fkinidiots.
aefevans Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Do you guys reckon you'll stay up this season?
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Unreal. Can't believe we're top again. When was the last time we were top twice in a season on separate occasions? Under Taylor it was just for one game wasn't it? It's 3 times at the top now.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Do you guys reckon you'll stay up this season? Need to get 8 more points... so we will see
Saxondale Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 22 points clear of the drop zone. Hope we can hold on.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 5 December 2015 Posted 5 December 2015 Do you guys reckon you'll stay up this season? Still not safe, I will be happy when we get to 38/40 points
