ARM1968 Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Not once our sports science team get hold of them. Mind you I'm not sure they could fix Austin's knees.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Would like any new signings in early not last minute deals Problem is, there's a lot of games around this period... So not ideal for getting someone in, given the reduced preparation time. Think the focus will be those games and see where we are by mid January - doesn't mean the scouts won't be doing their thing, but I imagine it'd be a while before a green light is given on trying to wrap up a transfer.
waylander Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 We should just add some more experience cattermole would be good rvp too
ozvaldo Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Definitely buy. No one ever thought we'd be in this position. Our players will inevitably run out of gas, injuries will come, as will more yellow card suspensions. Capitalise on our hard work so far and improve the squad's depth and quality.
MPH Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 New signings in the summer didn't upset the squad so why would new signings in the January transfer window upset the squad? Have faith in Walshy. A player's character/ temperament is an important aspect for him.
leicesterseddon Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 The game at Liverpool on Boxing Day convinced me we need to strengthen if we realistically want to make the top 4. That wasn't the ambition when the season started, but as time goes on I'm becoming more convinced that, having come this far, we should try to make a go of it. Finishing 6th or 7th would be still be a fantastic season, but it wouldn't transform the club in the way that CL qualification would. If we don't have a go now, we might never get the opportunity again (or at least, not for a very long time). The league has plenty of sides trying to 'build' their way into a top 4 position - but realistically, very few do because their best players keep getting picked up by the more established clubs and it's difficult to develop a team over time. However, if we do, I'd like to see 1/2 players max. Provided they have the right attitude, it shouldn't 'upset' the squad. As others have said, Mahrez from a couple of seasons ago should be the model.
Filbert_Ross Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I agree. I believe it's a once in a lifetime opportunity chance of making the Champions League or better. Go for it.

Carlos88LCFC Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I was unsure until I saw the Liverpool game. Our second string of attacking players aren't good enough to maintain our position and if Vardy or Mahrez got injured or dipped in form we would slip out of the top 4 in my opinion. I'd sell on or loan out 1 or 2 strikers, bring in a first choice Vardy type player to challenge for the second spot alongside Vardy or replace him when he is injured. Kramaric doesn't do himself any favors slipping over and giving up possession in some of his only touches of the ball. Let's hope if he does start he can live up to potential when we signed him because if does I retract everything I've said and think we don't need another striker. The rest of the pitch is ok for me. Maybe a back up with a similar player to Mahrez but I doubt we could find one that would be willing to sit on the bench whilst Mahrez is fit and on form.
Heymister2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Before the Liverpool game I was just thinking one signing! But the league is fast a ferocious and we lack quality in depth! If we sign Arias, Carrillo and a quality striker I'd be more optimistic
simon789us Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Need to invest in the team when we can we have a great chance to finish top 4 this season vardy and marhez carnt do it on their own
lcfcsnow Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 We need another forward option, whether that be a striker or a number 10, I'll let Ranieri decide. Ulloa was painfully bad tonight.

Ulloa was painfully bad tonight.Couldn't agree more, vardy or mahrez don't score we struggle, and the striking options we have barring vardy, just don't have goals in them.
AyewJoking Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 any rumours in regard to anyone wanting our players apart from Vardy and Mahrez? Its obvious which players need replacing but what are the chances of us actually freeing up places in the 25 man squad? Inler to villa on a loan is the only one ive seen and that was on here! would loaning out players be the most realistic option as no one is likely to match the wages they're currently on?
Adster Posted 30 December 2015 Posted 30 December 2015 Get a new Right Back in ASAP. Further proof today that Simpson is doggo. A defender who doesn't know how to tackle and just ****ing jockeys everyone is pathetic.
fuchsntf Posted 30 December 2015 Posted 30 December 2015 Since September, taking an whole collection of differing threads and posts, there is not one individual we need to keep, we should buy another 14 players, just in case we miss a pass, a goal, a save, a tackle, a cross, or someone fumbles, falls over, allows someone to cross, fails to stop a run...... SACK EM...
sdb Posted 30 December 2015 Posted 30 December 2015 A class number 10 who's hard working and good in the air. And can play up front. And is quick and suits our pressing style. Anyone...?!

jch123 Posted 30 December 2015 Posted 30 December 2015 Maybe embolo if we can get him, i dont think we really need to sign any tho. We have cover for most positions, maybe some of them arent great but the rest of the team would carry them wiv the team spirit we have. If it aint broke dont try to fix it!!!!
dayday Posted 31 December 2015 Posted 31 December 2015 The system we play suits very few teams as they don't have the players to execute it, this is where we have a big advantage of over other sides, they are scared to death as to what we are about. We are second on merit, and we will never ever get a better chance to cement a champions league place. This is why we need to strengthen,What is obvious is the squad needs at least 4/5 players to see us over the line the priority being somebody who can link up with Vardy, I wish Collymore was still around he would have been perfect. Also a midfielder,RB,winger and if Benlouane goes a centre back. Being well placed hopefully means top players won't take much persuading.
