Considering the amazing things that are happening this season our away ends are incredibly bad in terms of noise.

One of the old dears on the front row yesterday whipped out a sandwich as a corner was going into the box.

lol

Nothing surprises me about our away support these days...

What was in the sandwich?

A good quality sandwich is a hell of a temptation, prawn especially!

Did chuckle at this, sorry haha

Unfortunate yesterday and the less said about the ref the better. However can I just say some of the interplay between Kante and Drinkwater was phenomenal. An absolute marvel to watch.

Moving onto Norwich, who have just come off a heavily demoralising draw against west ham after being 2-0 up with 20 to go, I'm hoping we are more galvanised than ever to prove the bookies and pundits wrong. Arsenal's players doing a lap of honour was a bit much as if they felt they'd already win the league and that should play into our hands as underdogs. We've dealt with setbacks before and we will do again.

Really disappointed but as what others have said, they didn't have a shot on target till Simpson was sent off.  Before this game I didn't mind Arsenal and wanted them to win the league if we don't, that's gone back to Man city now.  I didn't realise how much their players winged and were constantly in the refs ear.  Ramsey is a bin lid, I thought Drinkwater got the ball and then the man but it wasn't on purpose, later on Ramsey lashed out a tackle at Drinky but it didn't connect.

The ref did bottle it but Simpson didn't help himself.  If Coquelin wasn't on a yellow the ref would've booked him but it should've been a sending off, he ran across to physically handle Mahrez.  Simpsons 2nd yellow, the foul on Sanchez was for pulling his shirt but did anyone notice that Giroud shot, the scissor kick where he was pulling Huth's shirt to his advantage but that didn't even draw a foul.

Wenger is coming out with his usual nonsense but he will know deep down that his team were lucky, managing a last minute goal to beat a 10 man Leicester.  I think their players were over compensating and distracting the fans with how poor they were by giving it the bigun.  They have a lot of bigger and better teams to face than us.  They have Spurs and Man City to come.  The bigger teams we have are at the end and they more than likely will have little to play for.

Whilst we all want Barca to smash Arsenal and whilst I don't wish harm on anyone perhaps give one or two of their players a reason to be rolling around all over the pitch.

But in reality we want Arsenal to have some very tough, tiring games against Barca but for Arsenal to stay in the competition meaning more games and more things to focus on (Prem, CL, FA Cup).

I can agree the longer there in the champions league the more distracted they'll be.

The defeat was gut wrenching but I do think we got to be grateful with the nature of the defeat as the injustice will surely spur us on for next few matches. I have long learnt to not to write us off this season- we usually dealt with any losses really well.  If I was Ranieri, I would be hammering on the fact that Arsenal needed us to go down to 10 men to finally beat us.  The likes of Was and Simpson may have let us, the team and themselves down yesterday but they both have played a part this season and they will need our support not our boos next match. Let show the world that we are the Leicester City!

Onwards and upwards.

As I said in the wrong thread:

Was' devil's advocate time:

Not saying what he did was beyond silly, but the crux of the argument is that the ball would have gone out of play if he not done it. Well watching MOTD not only was Was the defender who cleared the corner, but I'd imagine whoever' shearer might have been a bit more accurate (I.e. Back into the danger zone ( cue the music)) if a 15st(?) man-beast wasn't chasing him down!

Also what was Fuchs doing for the free kick, he should have had Welbeck...

What I can't understand is why at least 4 of the Arsenal players jumped into the crowd to celebrate the goal, which is against rule 12 and all should have been booked.

I personally don't want to see players booked for that. I'm satisfied to see the instigator (Wellbeck) get a card and the rest let off.

The time saved by enforcing the rule would not, in my opinion, be a good trade for removing another way in which a club can express passion.

Different rules apply for Arsenal.

Having calmed slightly from yesterday there is no doubt that Atkinson cost us that game. Absolutely wilted in the 2nd half, and although Simpson was foolish to commit two soft fouls they were never both yellow card offences. Many more challenges went in the first half with no action taken, and worse fouls after that were ignored. The way he ran over to get his 2nd yellow out kinda gave the game away that he couldn't wait to get the card out of his pocket to level it up.

I think Claudio got it badly wrong after the red though, bringing Gray in with such a responsibility was not the right call and he failed to cover Walcott's run for the first goal. I said at the time we should have gone to a 3 at the back with Wasyl, Huth & Wes with Albrighton and Fuchs as wing backs. It would then have allowed us to keep Riyad on off Vardy to at least offer something on the counter.

Having said all of that without the red card I could only see us extending our lead on the counter rather than them equalising, and nothing yesterday dispirited me enough to think that we can't do it. Massive game against Norwich next week, with Arsenal having a tricky away game, Spurs playing Sunday and Man City not playing at all gives us a chance to pile on some pressure.

Come on do you really believe your last paragraph....We now have a conspiracy problem...??

Can you then explain the referees performance in that second half? Sure as hell I can't. For all Arsenal's huff and puff 11 v 11 we had the making of them they didn't look like scoring. When Simpson got sent off it changed the game in their favour. Someone got to the ref at halftime it is so obvious.

Nah I just think Simpson was a bit stupid to give him that opportunity. Some refs would have given him a last warning and a talking to and some would have sent him off.

Atkinson had a tough job with the crowd on his back and the Arsenal players complaining constantly. Given the conditions it was important that we didn't give the players or the crowd the opportunity to get on the ref's back. Unfortunately Arsenal are damn slick team at times and it's almost impossible to chase and challenge them without doing the above.

Atkinson probably should or could have been stronger but we gave the opportunity for the decision to be made. Still trying to work out why Was decided to go and clothesline their player haha.

If you watch the first Simpson challenge again on Sanches it wasn't even a foul he gets the ball Sanches falls into him and waves an imaginary card at Atkinson he reacts and produces one. The scond one is worthy of a yellow as he pulls back Giroud. I was peed cos up until then and all their antics it was an even good game. Win at all costs, Atkinson changed the dynamics and eventual result of that game without doubt.

The worst thing about that is you just know that Giroud was waiting for the faintest hint of a headbutt from Schmeichel and he would have feigned concussion if Schmeichel's head had even moved a millimetre forward.

Give Giroud a break, it can't be easy playing football by day and presenting crappy television shows at night.

I wouldn't mind seeing that too.... but what i would love is for them to have a man harshly sent off with Barca players rolling around play acting and waving imaginery yellow cards. Then have two goals conceded in the last 5 minutes of injury time where the referee add two extra minutes to give Barca a chance to score.

Their victim mentality will be their downfall.... not that I feel Leicester are victims of some conspiracy or anything like that :)

Want to keep it nice and tight and distract them from their league form, maybe a last minute extra time penalty to Barca after Suarez dives in the box.

Or they beat Barca, then Madrid, then Bayern and lose to Chelsea in the final to  a last minute pealty with Diego Costa diving around like a little girl, Ramsey sent off for 2 yellows. This coupled with Manchester united  winning the Europa League (I don't want Van Gaal sacked), results in 4th placed Arsenal (their league form slips due to CL commitments) missing out on CL qualification for next season.

Daylight robbery. Spurs away in the cup and then Arsenal away. It stinks to me.

R.e. The Drinkwater tackle...

Drinkwater's leg bounces up off the ball and it ends up higher than intended. I think a yellow and a serious telling off would have sufficed. There was clearly no harm intended and I think Ramsey's acceptance of his apology sums that up.

Personally think it's a red. It's accidental but it endangers the opponent for sure and is reckless.

That said, I reckon Koscielny could have been sent off for his challenge on Kante which was also reckless and was also extremely cynical. Who tries to head the ball at that height? Ridiculous challenge!

Legs don't bounce off balls, unless his leg is made of jelly.

You haven't seen a slowmotion replay of any tackle ever then?
