N'golo hammy being 'managed'

King is simply not good enough and even the most blue tinted spectacle wearers must see this.

He did well enough in our first few games, including against a strong West Ham side.

It's not that Amartey can't play at CM...he's just not ready to at this level yet. That was made abundantly clear yesterday. Needs more time to acclimatise.

Spot on. Amartey looks like he has talent, but for me he is miles off P/L pace and needs to be brought up to speed. WBA are a strong tackling, often dirty side. I wouldn't play him in this game.

No-one looks strong enough to replace Kante me, both King and Inler are too lightweight, so maybe have to go 3-5-2 for this one? put Schlupp on the left, Albrighton on the right, Fuchs, Morgan, Huth at the back, Drinky, King & Inler in the middle with Okazaki in front of them, with Vardy up front. Bench would have Mahrez, King, Wasyl, Gray, Ulloa for options.

How do you work that one out? I don't think people grasp how different it is being moved from the centre of the pitch to being playing out wide on the right flank. He's not a right back. Yes he can do a job there but he's quite clearly not fully comfortable in that role. First game in a much higher league and he plays out of position? Considering all that he played well.

No one has seen Amartey play centre midfield yet. You can't judge how he may or not play in one position because he didn't set the world alight in another. Danny Drinkwater is quality playing in the centre of midfield. Last season when being asked to play on the right side of a diamond he was poor. Does that mean he's a bad player? Or is he just better in one position than the other?

No one can judge Amartey's credentials to play in the midfield until he's actually been given an opportunity to play for Leicester there.

im no expert on Amartey but by all means he is mostly a holding center mid, most similar to Kante. So it would make sense that he would be the replacement.

Lets not forget Kante didn't look amazing in his first few games.

Really? He looked a cut above the second he stepped onto the pitch.

Amertey was fine, for me it looked like he'd been told to keep it tight and play it simple. I think he naturally wanted to get forward more, but the way we play we don't really commit full backs.

Some of Amartey's passing was shocking yesterday he can't play central midfield I'd give Inler a go

I love how you make this assumption with absolutely no proof of him playing CM for us

RB is not his preferred position but Claudio obviously saw something in him to play him there

King has played well at times this season, best player on the pitch when we played west ham and tottenham away in the cup. I'd definitely be looking to play him as he has the goal threat too

If only King took more shots on goal, it seems like he has forgot. I miss his long range efforts.

Last shot I remember he dragged it horribly and it barely reached the goal line haha.

Shocked the see people thought Amartey played badly on Saturday. I thought he was pretty solid for a debut as a young lad from abroad playing at a higher level. Though I suppose it helps in weeding out the people who's opinions aren't worth th bits of data used to air them.

I'd probably throw Amartey in for Kanté, possibly Inler and play Ulloa with Vardy for this one. Fairly confident we're going to concede from a set piece in this one considering how shakey we've looked in the past few games. Still wondering how Jerome has missed that free header from 2 or 3 yards out.

We should be capable of beating these but we're going to need to show a hell of a lot more going forwards than we did against Norwich.

Jerome missed that header because someone, presumably Morgan or Huth got enough on him to stop him timing it. It wasn't blatant, like the hand on Huth's shoulder when he would have scored, but it is a big part of defenders job.

Think Kante would be a huge miss at any stage of the season but, oddly, I feel like we will miss him more in the upcoming fixtures against team in the relegation dog fight that will likely pack their midfields and scrap for everything than we would against some of the top sides. Playing with Kante in a midfield 2 is basically the same as midfield 3.

Lets hope Saturday was just a precautionary measure he will be fit very soon.

Kante isnt exactly pirlo at passing

Spot on. As great has Kante is I don't think passing the ball is his strength. With West Brom likely to sit deep don't think it's a bad game for him to miss

Like for like I'd go Amartey, his height will help to.

Wouldn't risk Kante tomorrow, his pace away at Watford from midfield on break will be key

I agree can you imagine drinky at right back.

Bad timing, he will be hugley missed. I would like to see Amartey go straight in as he looks like he could have similar energy. I am sure it will be King though.

Could be worse timing, in my opinion... We now have Amartey who i think could slot into his role far better than he can at RB
