sylofox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 I really do not believe that OP. I thought we had proven it is not all about money. If it was we would be down with villa and man c would be top ffs.
ALC Fox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 With De Bruyne back after the internationals, they could be. They're capable of winning all their remaining games. Honestly though, I don't think they can overtake all 3 teams above them and they've been inconsistent all season, even with De Bruyne. 2nd at best, likely 3rd-5th for me.
Raw Dykes Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Yes. Still plenty of time for things to change. Us and Spurs could draw a couple while Man CIty and Arsenal win and it's very close again. No room for complacency until it's sealed.
vandamman Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 I think they're out of it. They have been far to inconsistent this season to suggest they can bounce back and are still battling on the champions league front. They obviously have some great players but equally they have some players that don't show it enough, like Bony today.
GaelicFox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 After ten games 1/4 of the league gone Man city were odds on 8/11 or less to win the league We were still 750 or 1000/1 They are Fcuked and have been for months Not a hope they win it
Moksky Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Of course they are in it. We just need to concentrate on our own petormances. Just keep winning and grinding it out. Put pressure on those around and we are now seeing teams having to chase games. Pressure is building and Man City are the only ones who have experience of this in recent years. I am glad we are 9 clear of them. Plus point is we have a spine that won a league 2 years ago, we have experience also
Clever Fox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 We just need to keep taking it one game at a time and keep getting results. These next four games starting on Monday are massive because they are winnable if we perform like early season.
yorkie1999 Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Yes they're still in it, that was their game in hand.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Of course they are. If we win on Monday it will probably be very unlikely for them. ThisAlthough one note of caution 8/9 games to go there is an awful lot of points to play for still I wouldn't discount anyone until it's mathmatically impossible for them to catch us
Fox in the North Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Yes they're still in it, it's cheesy and obvious I know, but they're in it until it's mathematically impossible. Ill relax when I see their name on the 'Teams that can't catch us' thread. Until then I'll treat every game with the same nervous optimism as always Though I trust Ranieri and Co to treat every upcoming game with the attitude they have done so far.
Tuna Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 No, they are out of it. They would need all 3 of the teams above form to collapse for them to get a chance, and only Arsenal to play in a 6 pointer.
Gerard Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 No, they are out of it. They would need all 3 of the teams above form to collapse for them to get a chance, and only Arsenal to play in a 6 pointer. Nonsense, they are one point behind Arsenal and play them at home. If Tottenham lose tomorrow they could potentially one point behind them. Man City have looked awful compared to what we expect them to be but it's foolish to dismiss them at this stage. If we don't win it then they have every chance. I don't see anyone writing off Arsenal and they only have one point more.
NewEnglandFox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Mathematically yes, statistically no. They have one game remaining against the top 4 with Arsenal and It'd be great if that result went our way.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Ever since Kompany said 'the hunt is on', as reported on March 1st, they have got 4 points in 3 games! Its hard to see them coming back on the top 3 at that rate...
Izzy Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Had a good read of the Man City forum this evening and they don't appear confident of a top 4 finish - let alone winning the league. Lots of anger towards the players and Pellegreeni and a general state of resignation and deflation. Sounds like they've got a few issues up there and a real lack of belief.

Foxxed Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 It was great to see Man City break the traditional top clubs, but now they're playing Football Manager with infinite cash, glibly throwing away this season simply so they could get Pep. It's what you get when you know your money will--most of the time--result in success, so you can just idly sit back. Makes Man City a fairly dull team for me. At least back in the day Man United's success could be largely put down to their excellent youth system.
Carl the Llama Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Ever since Kompany said 'the hunt is on', as reported on March 1st, they have got 4 points in 3 games! Its hard to see them coming back on the top 3 at that rate... A good hunter conceals his presence - they're using that 4th place spot as camouflage...
FireFox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 A good hunter conceals his presence - they're using that 4th place spot as camouflage...Is that why Arsenal always finish 4th? Concealing themselves for their title push the next season?
AyewJoking Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 obviously manc will be hoping ourselves and spurs start dropping points. right now they are out of it but the perspective changes game by game i feel.
Ozwin Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Announcing Guardiola so far in advance was a stupid stupid move. Happens every time they do it, West Ham were flying the other season, announced he wasn't sticking around and they couldn't be arsed anymore. Don't k ow why sides do it.

hackneyfox Posted 12 March 2016 Posted 12 March 2016 Pellegrini and Allardyce both knew they were out when contract talks never happened. Pep is so high profile that it was never going to be kept quiet.
