Strokes Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Italian strikers rarely work out in the premier league. If walsh doesn't want him neither do I. It's a no from me. Zola, dicanio, ravenelli, vialli and carbone spring to mind.
Tuna Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 Zola, dicanio, ravenelli, vialli and carbone spring to mind. The players you name were all big name internationals before they came to England with the exception of Carbone. Lapadula is not in their league. Plenty of lesser known italian strikers like him have played in the premier league and were crap. For every Zola, Vialli, Ravanelli and Di Canio there is a Corrado Grabbi, Andrea Silenzi, Rolando Bianchi and Massimo Maccarone.

stretch1965 Posted 20 May 2016 Posted 20 May 2016 I recall Junior Lewis was also plucked from the lower divisions.......... Legend
ronnup Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 Was hoping this would be wrapped up sooner rather than later.
Tielemans63 Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 The Musa deal is now 76.4781% done. Can you be more specific mate? We need details.
Reg Vardy Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Would be the coolest chant of all time...."the lapadula, he's my baby....."
Finnegan Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 I'd put money on this being a typical Leicester decoy bid. He's just back up incase we don't get Musa.
ronnup Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Would be the coolest chant of all time...."the lapadula, he's my baby....." Ha ha! I always sing that to myself for Divock Origi
ballisimo Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Would be the coolest chant of all time...."the lapadula, he's my baby....." Na we want 'it's raining goals, lapadula its raining goals!' To the tune of it's raining men
Sionnach gorm Posted 29 May 2016 Posted 29 May 2016 With teams like Napoli and Juventus interested he will be hard to get. I knew little about him and now am convinced he'd be a great add next to Vardy. From my understanding Serie B is a very fast pace league. I'd love him here.

foxes21 Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 yeh I think this fiasco was to push the Musa deal through
The_77 Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 Of all the strikers we're linked with, I'm most excited about this guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, just as I was coming onto this thread I thought the same. I like in general that we're being linked with high calibre players - shows the development we've made. If Lapadula doesn't come, I'd have thought we've got alternatives for the striker role. Musa can play there as well.
MPH Posted 1 June 2016 Posted 1 June 2016 I wonder how genuine our interest was in the first place? We probably sniffed around to find out asking price and wages, ect, but we probably are obligated to do that for about 10-15 people for every position we want to fill... I just cant help think our name is being thrown into the public domain by agents/ selling clubs to try and squeeze a bit more money out of other interested clubs.

He was acting like a whore saying flattering things with every team he was linked to.
