WigstonWanderer Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Vardy has been fantastic for us this season, but I think most here would acknowledge that he does have limitations which could be brutally exposed as he tries to adapt to new systems and styles of play. In the past it has taken him up to a year to acclimatise in such transitions. Personally I think that he is quite capable of making such a transition, but the question is, will he be afforded the time to adapt by Arsenal and their fans? If not he could quite easily find himself benched and have great difficulty winning a place back. As I've said before, perhaps he realises this but it isn't his main consideration any more. If he is on the bench he still has his guaranteed 120k a week to soften the blow.
Master Fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Vile. Absolutely disgusting Vardy can do one. But we have to keep N'golo at all costs. He cannot be allowed to leave. I'm so angry at this. Not a word from the club either. Heartbreaking stuff
harpendenfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 You know what, if he wants to go, good luck to him. He will join a club with a hideous sense of expectation, leaving one where he has exceeded all expectations. Of course he has been a critical part of our success, but we are bigger than that, and Southampton show it is possible to get raided every summer and still compete in the upper echelons of the Prem. If it's true he wants to go not even a month after raising the trophy then I am amazed.
KFS Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 He's not untouchable because of last season. 3 weeks ago he's spouting shit about how we need to stick together etc and now this? Fvck you Jamie. https://twitter.com/Limpar33/status/739321826816446464Fvck this cvnt aswell
Legend_in_blue Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I think it's a disgrace tbh. To think that we all celebrated our success in the manner that we did and then for the main man to turn round and go about this in such an under handed way is disgusting. It's taking all the enjoyment and passion out of the game. All for some extra cash.
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 https://twitter.com/Limpar33/status/739321826816446464 Fvck you Giroud.
Fox 4 Life Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 It will happen today then. Giroud wouldn't say that unless he had been told. Thanks for everything Jamie but you are now dead to me you money grabbing ****. Genuinely hope he flops.
ALC Fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I would hate to see him go but he'd leave with my best wishes. He'll remain a legend here, in my eyes at least. Will he win the league with Arsenal? Their system isn't set up to suit him currently. He'll certainly add some mental resilience to a side that, on the evidence, hasn't had any for many years. But the rest of that team just isn't up to it. Their fragility in the high-pressure moments will cost them again. If we can replace Jamie with one or two good forwards from Musa, Slimani, Embolo, or whoever Walshy has up his sleeve, we'll be alright. I am worried about Kanté and Mahrez leaving as well though. Before this Vardy situation erupted, I thought all 3 would stay for our maiden Champions League campaign. But if all 3 do go, I trust in our scouting network to bring in the necessary replacements. We'll surprise everyone again, just you watch.
LCFCABC Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Come on people. It's an offer he can't refuse. There no romance in football, it's all about money and personal gain. We need to celebrate what he achieved with us and wish him all the best if he leaves. You can't blame him for accepting to double his wages and play for one of the teams that's been challenging for titles and champions leagues for the last 10 years I for one will be looking forward to see how he gets on in that side. I always enjoy watching ex Leicester players (once the initial dissapointed has worn off)
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 The most gutting thing about this will always be the quote he gave a couple weeks ago, saying he won't leave and all that. I would be less annoyed about it if he hadn't of said that then went Let's hope this is.juat arsenal wankers doing their usual twitter takeover and it's all bull

harpendenfox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 And remember Swansea. 4-0 to the one man team. It's my straw and I'll clutch at it if I want
Collymore Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I think £30m is an excellent deal though. I think Zlatan is on his way, totally opposite player to Vardy but could you imagine Zlatan with Mahrez and Gray behind him?
benpicko Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I think £30m is an excellent deal though. I think Zlatan is on his way, totally opposite player to Vardy but could you imagine Zlatan with Mahrez and Gray behind him? Based on what? I thought all the news was saying that he'd agreed a deal with Man U
lifted*fox Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I'm not sure what annoys me more now on reflection tbh. The fact we are losing a good footballer or the fact it's left me feeling slightly gullible because I thought he meant what he said about 'brothers' and not wanting to leave. I genuinely thought we had something different here, but now it seems it was just empty words. Stings a bit!
muzzyisalegend Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 I know how upsetting this all is, and I'm as gutted he's leaving as anyone, but is all the hate really necessary? If he feels this move is right for him at this stage of his career (and I don't believe it is), then in my opinion we should be thanking him for the fantastic memories and wishing him well. I don't think it'll work out well for him, but the guys nearly thirty and clearly wants to move to a so called big club, this chance may not come again for him. Yes I know he's trying to milk as much money out of the game as he can, but can we really blame him considering how late he came into the game? Personally, I say good luck Jamie and hope it works out as you wish. From our perspective, a devastating blow, but one man does not make a club, and we have to have faith that the club have irons in the fire that will only make us stronger long term. We've had vardys best years, let's move on and keep dreaming.
foxes161 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 too bad he won't win the title next year now Pep is here
foxfanazer Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 too bad he won't win the title next year now Claudio is herefixed
Collymore Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Based on what? I thought all the news was saying that he'd agreed a deal with Man UNo. When he's finished trolling with the media he'll announce he's signed for us. Can't wait.http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/7180501/Zlatan-Ibrahimovics-agent-dents-Manchester-Uniteds-hopes-of-signing-star-claiming-move-will-be-surprise.html
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Come on people. It's an offer he can't refuse. It might well be an offer he can't refuse but you and others taking this stance and suggesting we shouldn't hate him for it are looking at it from the wrong perspective; his. As fans we've got every right to be gutted and I hope he flops massively and it all ends in tears.Would all you trying to defend him be saying the same things if your Mrs left you for a guy with a bigger dick and a better job?! Or would you think she is the biggest bitch around?!
foxes161 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 fixedLets face it we won't get near the title next year
foxes_rule1978 Posted 5 June 2016 Posted 5 June 2016 Lets face it we won't get near the title next year That is what everyone said this year...
