But it's clear that arsenal have triggered his release clause. it's worrying that the vardy's sought to chill out at Rutland water today. There are quite a few big ponds on Hampstead Heath!

Dan Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 If it's really nearer £30mil that softens the blow a fair bit to me, because I think it changes things for Leicester - I think they've overpaid for him at that price and Leicester know it, and it might not be entirely on Vardy forcing the move himself, but it could actually be Leicester doing it as well. I'll be sad to see him go no matter what but every player has a price. £30mil for me is enough.

Firstly all the unwarranted abuse from so called fans, but then having no alternative but to eat at the 'Italian' restaurant on Rutland Water. Let's get at least some facts correct in this thread. Firstly the so called 'Italian' restaurant is no more of Italian origin than I am, and the food is absolute s**t. And as for Rutland Water...a glorified title for Oakham reservoir. Rutland and Oakham in particular is an turd of an area...I should know as I live and am trying to escape there...perhaps that is what Jamie is trying to do too !!.

I expect Halifax and Stocksbridge have already had anything they were owed in sell-on clauses if there were any. Halifax might have had a slice of the £1m Fleetwood got off us, and Stocksbridge might have had a bit of whatever Fleetwood paid Halifax for him. I'd have thought that any sell on percentage would be on anything quantifiable in the agreement. If Fleetwood are to take 25% of our sale, and let's say that Halifax took 10% of Fleetwood's when they sold to us, then Halifax are more than entitled to 10% of anything Fleetwood have gained or stand to gain from Vardy's move here (which would include 'x amount' from our sale to Arsenal). Of course I could be wrong, but that's how I'd interpret the clause. It could be written in that it applies to only the initial fee, I find that unlikely though.
