It'sblueupnorth Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 yeah rudkin is a nightmare can't stand him he got pearson sacked and looks to be trying to get Claud sacked the **** Just interested but how did he get Pearson sacked?
JayPittardBlueatheart Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Just interested but how did he get Pearson sacked? He got Pearson's son drunk in Thailand and introduced him and a few of the lads to some VERY lovely young ladies . It was... ya know... him making up for all the times he has made the u21's unhappy (which has really had a negative performance on our season).
filbertstreet Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 heard jon rudkin was the one who wanted the new away kit to be red and he got rid of the balti pies
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Jon Rudkin was the one who took the legendary dump in Pearson's car. He also let Palace scum in to steal our flags and has a season ticket to Forest. He does seem to be quite the bellend
erlee Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Alright lads meet me down KP bring your gardening tools. We'll wait for Rudkin's arrival. i hv only got a pitchfork..
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 John Rudkin and his pals go into bars, look at the menu at the bar without having a table - can't decide what they want, then when they do they each pay separately and on card.
Merging Cultures Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I heard he's one who replaced white on our kit with gold.
Webbo Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Rudkin banned Unabomber from posting in the lcfc section.
Viva Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 If he didn't have a release clause, then yes. Or tell him we wouldn't sell for less than 40m. If he got upset about it, then let him rot. Do you think we would have won the league if we'd told him that? The new contract and release clause was probably the only way to keep him in the last window.
sylofox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 It's Rudkins fault we won da fvcking league. No hang on I'm confused it's to early.
Alex_LCFC Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Release clauses are down to the agents and the player.
Raj Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Hang on... We've just won the Premier League and people are starting threads about backroom staff being shit? Have word with yourself FFS
katieakita Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Don't blame him he answers to Susan Whelan so lets blame her she went and told us to trust the board when we changed managers. Now look what they have done. If we had performed like Villa we would have kept all our players but they went and won the league and now everybody wants them. We could probably got away with finishing lower half or even mid table and none of these so called big clubs would have been after our top players. really poor judgement by the owners to go on and win the league and give away the fact we have the best team in the country, also not quite sure what they are supposed to do about agents trying to get as much money for their clients or themselves though. For those struggling to understand our players being linked elsewhere think of it like this: Your partner is stunning absolutely drop dead gorgeous and you go for a night out. People will start looking at them because of their beauty but is that your partners fault for being too good looking. If they start blow them kisses or winking at them or go over and start kissing them you probably do have reason for concern. If you are worried about people looking at your partner and having thoughts about them maybe you should have considered getting an uglier partner. I fairness it would be hard to argue with what our owners have delivered and think they have done more than enough to earn our trust. If a player wants to go, well let them go I have every confidence the club has a higher standard of replacement lined up than ever before.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Surely his main job over this spring and summer was to put the club in a position where it could keep its most important staff together? If Vardy leaves he's obviously not done very well at that.
ealingfox Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 John Rudkin stands up and applauds when he's at home watching the Test and an England player makes a century.
Guest ttfn Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Release clauses are down to the agents and the player. Release clauses are obviously negotiated by both sides. If they were just down to the agents and player everybody would have a 5p release clause in their contracts so that the club buying them wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee and the players and agents could keep all the money. It's apparently been part of Rudkin's remit to oversee contract negotiations for some time. If he's agreeing to a new contract for an England international centre forward who's just scored in 11 straight games and was at the time the league's top scorer, it's absolutely negligent to put in a release clause of £20 million (or less, it now seems). Ordinarily when release clauses are in contract they're prohibitively high, or at least (as was the case with Kante) speculatively high (£20 million for him seems like a bargain but at the time you'd have have to say a potential £15 million profit was good money). In any event, it's one thing agreeing a low release clause to tempt a player to sign for the club but another thing to include a low value release in a contract for a player whose registration the club already holds. Webbo's suggestion that he may have had a lower release clause in his old contract is the only thing that could make this make any sense at all.
Unabomber Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Rudkin is the kind of guy who has 5 minutes extra on his lunch break every day and thinks no one notices
Christoph Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 It has to be someone's fault webbo, find your favourite scapegoat. Has anyone seen wellens? Was found in the pub hiding behind Kermogrant
bluebeau Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Rudkin wouldn't have told the players to put in a release clause, nor would he have set it so low by choice. The player and his agent would have made it a condition of signing. Exactly so! All top football clubs are being forced to put these release clauses into players contracts now, so don't blame Rudkin.
Foxhateram Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Exactly so! All top football clubs are being forced to put these release clauses into players contracts now, so don't blame Rudkin. As someone above has stated though. It is up to the club to ensure that said release clause is good for both parties. In this case it certainly is not! Getting Vardy to sign a comtract last year in the form he was in with that release clause is criminal. It's like saying to everyone interested, have a free punt at convincing our vards to leave. Now i don't know who is in charge of contracts at the club, but they need to have a hard think about any future dealings they do.
