Ashley Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 I imagine he will have a 50K release clause in his contract. More
Vlad the Fox Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 Stated 100% he'd be staying when asked by Geoff Peters during the lap of honour.
dylanlegend Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 **** it lads (and lasses) we won the league- who honestly thought we would see that in their lifetime. We are PL champions and have CL football to look forward to at the King Power. Let's not worry too much. We could be Sunderland.... Or West Brom

Fox 4 Life Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 This could be ****ing tragic, lose mahrez and Kante and then the guy who we need to pluck our their replacements!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 Let's not put too fine a point on this, if he lives this is a sporting disaster for us. Are you suggesting we should assassinate him?

Nickfosse Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 Are you suggesting we should assassinate him? Apologies, I hadn't noticed the typo.Just reflecting on what I've read in the past few days; Kante is off Mahrez has rejected a contract and wants to go Vardy will go if those two go schmeichel is off to Everton Simpson to Sunderland Chilwell to Liverpool Ulloa to Swansea Jeff to West brom Dodoo is going to Rangers Walsh is considering DOF at Everton Out of all those possible outcomes, the one that bothers me most is losing Steve Walsh

dylanlegend Posted 15 July 2016 Posted 15 July 2016 Why do people think DOF at Everton is such a big opportunity? My opinion of DOFs are they are often washed up old managers that no-one wants anymore. I.e. Redknapp at Derby, Joe Kinnear at Newcastle etc. Surely being assistant manager is just as good if not better than DOF. Especially with the fact we are premier league champions and in the Champions League.

It's a massive opportunity for him to go to a big club and turn them into an English super force with all the money being pumped in up there. He'll probably get a pay rise and be given more resources there to achieve whatever he wants to achieve. Directors of football do play a big role by the way so it is a 'promotion' as such.
mozartfox Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 Director of Catering at Forest is more attractive than DOF at Everton. They are going to chasing Liverpool's tail for the next year or so rather than chasing for serious honors.
Sunbury Fox Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 It's insulting that a club who've won nothing for more than 20 years think they can pinch the goalkeeper and assistant manager from the PL champions. Surely he'll tell them to do one?

I don't really agree, in today's climate Everton aren't a big club any more, they hardly generate any more money than us commercially. He's more likely to turn Leicester into a big club than Everton from the base he has here. The new Everton owner isn't even as rich as our owners, I'll believe it when I see it when he starts digging hundreds of millions out of his own pocket to invest in Everton.
Cropwellfox Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 Telegraph so therefore Percy now reporting we are resigned to him leaving - owners 'philosophical'
Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 Why do people keep calling him our assistant manager in this thread? Has Shakey left?
dbtcity Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 Owners feel Rudkin can do his job..... The same Rudkin who agreed to all these release clauses in players contracts... Get bent!!! I'm done if Walsh goes he signed a new contract 6 weeks ago so tell them to do 1

That one?
StanSP Posted 16 July 2016 Posted 16 July 2016 Why do people keep calling him our assistant manager in this thread? Has Shakey left? think they're both 'assistant managers' but Steve Walsh also has a large say in recruitment
