Phube Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 And Antonio and Walcott... no surprises after that!

Tielemans63 Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Watch him pick Jordan 'The Crab' Henderson over Drinky when it comes down to it.
RowlattsFox Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Wilshere and Barkley left out. I'd still be surprised if Drinkwater and Vardy start.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Correct in the selection of Drinkwater and Vardy. Also pleased to see Antonio involved.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Wonder how Mark Noble feels about being snubbed again, good news though no Jack Wiltshire!
ScouseFox Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 unreal the reaction to drinkwater being picked. i just assumed everyone was aware he's comfortably the best english midfielder in the league right now but apparently not. people think mark noble is better ffs. game's gone, head's gone.
AKCJ Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Mark Noble was ****ing dire today. He is a solid English midfielder but Drinkwater is miles ahead of him.
Matt Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Wilshire not there = Sam doing a better job than Woy already. Shame Sturridge is still there though, and Sterling, but many positives there.
urban.spaceman Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Just been told on twitter that Drinkwater's a pub player and if you think he's better than Wiltshire you're a f***** idiot

Most thought it was a disgrace he was not at the euro's.

Mark Noble's only given serious England nominations because he plays for West Ham and the press support them. If he played for Stoke or West Brom nobody would give a **** really. He's ok but the way the press bang on about him you'd have thought Iniesta was left out.

His close control and ability to keep the ball is superb. Once Wilshere is 100% fit and playing games, he should be in the squad along with Drinkwater.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Well done Drinky well done Vardy anything other would of been a joke really
StanSP Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Surprised Barkley's not been called up. And he's gone with only 3 strikers. Rooney's listed as a midfielder. 4 wingers (Lallana, Walcott, Antonio, Sterling).
Bluetintedspecs Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 Looks like big Sam is picking people on merit.......refreshing that!

fuchsntf Posted 28 August 2016 Posted 28 August 2016 In preening our own feathers, in the name of our beloved foxes, we the fans might be missing the moment While wallowing in the clubs glory. The owners and Claudio, have dragged us up to a level we could only previously dream of. Dont take it now for granted, and lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.Plus dont let us become like some of the other teams fans bores.Let keep our expectations lowkey, we have just Kicked the door down on the PL cartells, but we still aint yet baking the cake in the kitchen, and along way from running off with the owners daughter.... Its 40yrs since we had 3 Leicester players representing England, just missed out on a 4th, but Whitworth played the year later. Now we have Drinkwater and Vardy, who have burst through, now after kissing that pot. Has an older fan I am proud, we have 2 top players who have earnt their right to pull on the England Jersey. These 2 will be involved in major tournament games. How it pans out for club and playery ,who knows ! I wont get cocky or arrogant, our story has just got off the ground..

That's not merit though is it, they have not played for their respective clubs all season (through choice not injury). How can they have played well to get in the England squad?

Somebody on here, with reference to a perceived lack of ambition in the transfer window, was suggesting that "We've gone as far as we can with these Thai owners". Fortunately most of our fans are sane, unlike that particular poster, who seemed to have been taking lessons on how to be a dick from Arsenal.
