In my opinion, his best game in a city shirt.

Still a few misplaced passes, but he looked more confident and positive on the ball today and made some excellent contributions in both attack and defence - perhaps as a result of a bit of a run in the team.

 

Really like his attitude and hope he goes from strength to strength. Well in Danny lad.

I've slated him a bit recently but he was really good today. I'm prepared to bit my tongue and see how he gets on over the next few games. He does give us a great engine and some muscle if he can keep it up.

He add's an extra option which I think will come useful to us, can slot in at cdm or cb when we need to change the formation and will do a half decent job. Really glad we got him

I loved his ambition to bomb on on the overlap, even at the end. Good game. He's winning me over for sure. Good on the lad.

Top boy today, was our best player along with Maguire. He can't offer anything crossing wise but he's ticking along nicely.

The Boy is doing great. If you watch and notice he tackles much further up the pitch mostly preventing the opposition getting to our back line very often.

Now that he's getting games and more confident he's even venturing forward offering the type of service that Albrighton does on the left. Without the crossing ability of course but I'm sure that will come with time.

He's a terrific member of the Squad.

He looks as he did last season, like a lad learning his trade. He is however not embarrassing himself and doing a half decent job. If that lad can be a left back at Man City, why can't Daniel be our much craved new right back.

It’s funny. Anyone with half and ounce of footballing instinct could see this kid has it in him. All he has ever needed is time on the pitch, confidence and consistency from the manager. He is a gem and will be a star for us.

Fair play to the kid.  He was excellent against Chelsea and decent again yesterday.  Up until the Chelsea game I thought he’d looked pretty poor so it’ll take more than two games to completely overhaul my opinion on him, but whereas I saw no hope before, he’s finally showed

that he could actually be useful rather than a liability.
