Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 The last 15 mins has been much better. Just being a lot more effective in possession.
Crinklyfox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 The best we've played for a while. Decent passing and looking dangerous at times. Palace have looked good when they've kept the ball though and Benteke and Zaha are certainly threats. If we sit back and let them have the ball then they could equalise.
The People's Hero Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 That's some finish from musa. No idea why he wasn't closed down. Mahre a real threat drifting inside. King excellent so far. Benteke looks a threat and we need to stop crosses coming in a bit better. Overall actually quite pleased with that. Reckon vardy will come on for Okazaki (never plays 90 mins ) with a real point to prove

Benguin Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 There is no debate, no argument and anyone who denies it or is hesitant in admitting it is as clueless as can be. Drinkwater is by far the best English central midfielder.
Aus Fox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Loving King's performance today, looks like the answer was sitting there the whole time. Not a bad half, good start a wobble for 10/15 mins then. All us again.
WoodyFox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Some spells of play in that half that were reminiscent of last season
Webbo Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Mahrez seems to be back to his best, other than that nobody has really impressed me. Enjoyable game though, I'm getting my football mojo back again. The fear and excitement has started up again.

danfox76 Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 king has been beast and needs to start every game at the moment
Charl91 Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Just shows how much we actually need to play a "number 10", rather than two strikers. Once again, shows why Okazaki is so important in us being able to play football on the ground and keep possession, rather than "hoof ball". King has been pretty good today, not exceptional, but certainly not invisible at least! Certainly better than Amartey at the moment.
TJB-fox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Some of the comments about King in here he's had a very solid decent, albeit quiet first half. Hasnt pulled up any trees but has subtly gone about doing his job and has looked after the ball well. Honestly what do people expect from a premiership midfielder? It's only players like Fabregas or De Bruyne or Pogba etc (ie the multi million pound midfielders) that are going to really dominate games and it's only players like Kante Xhaka Matic (again multi million pound midfielders) that are going to make 5/6/7 tackles a game. Keep it up second half Kingy.
bovril Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Playing some good, confident stuff compared to some of the tepid football of the last few weeks.
tyfox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 The moose the moose the moose is on fire, the moose the moose the moose is on fire, we don't give a **** watch that mother f***er burn
Izzy Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 I thought King was bang average that half. A few nice bits mixed in with a few not so nice bits. Maybe I missed something...
desertfox2 Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Pleased for Musa that will do his confidence a lot of good. Everyone playing well tbf. I like the way Slimani keeps the ball alive in their box. Vardy must be worrying okazaki is great in a 442 as he drops back when we lose the ball. Looking like it may be a case of Okazaki and Slim/Vardy with the one that doesn't start replacing Okazaki after 70 mins. Should have scored with the chip early on but apart from that had a very good game
Oxfordfox83 Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Great half from Simpson, King and Mahrez. Okazaki showing us all the aspects that we've missed without him-sitter aside he's been great. I really like the approach we've taken to this game-it's not the same as last season, but it's showing elements of it while trying to keep the ball better. Just wish Slim could pass-he'd be a hell of a player if he learned...

foxfanazer Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Slimani is going about his business quietly today. Not done anything amazing but is linking up the play nicely and getting the wingers into the game
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 King has been passing forward effectively, made a few good interceptions and getting in good positions. I reckon he'll score next half
FireFox Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Everything has worked, well except having to foul every so often, and them getting in some good crosses.

He's killing the urgency going forwards.
ozleicester Posted 22 October 2016 Posted 22 October 2016 Kingy must be one of our most "Marmitey" players ever, I thought his first half has been outstanding.
