CloudFox Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Mentioned as interested him in the Guardian's rumour mill: Quote Slaven Bilic refused to watch any of the weekend’s football highlights following West Ham’s drubbing by Arsenal, which is why he is interested in a January move for Marouane Fellaini. Everton, having witnessed Fellaini’s impact first-hand on Sunday, are instead chasing fellow United fringe players Memphis Depay, rated at £25m, and Morgan Schneiderlin – though the latter is also being eyed by Leicester, West Brom and Milan for good measure. Should Ronald Koeman bring in his preferred Old Trafford cast-offs, he will cast off his current United cast-off, Tom Cleverley. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/dec/07/football-transfer-rumours-alexis-sanchez-wants-400000-a-week-deal Very small link, and likely just generated by us all talking about him so much, but still...I wouldn't mind him here!
Finnegan Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Crazy amount of money, I remember feeling a little underwhelmed by the link in the summer (prior to Mendy getting injured) but can't deny he's exactly what we need at the moment. Just a good, solid, all round midfielder. Tidy on the ball and without it.
Fox92 Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 If he can actually sit and win the ball back then get him in. £25mill is a lot but didn't realise he was still only 27.
foxy boxing Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 would offer more experience in midfield certainly and the younger players could learn off him and Drinkwater
StanSP Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Premier League experience in midfield? Yes please.

He could repay that by the end of this season. The difference between 17th and 8th will be that. Not even thinking about the R word.

It doesnt say in the article how much Schneiderlin would cost...
MPH Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Having said that, i would be absolutely delighted to sign him.

Ric Flair Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Good, solid player at this level but he's not got any pace so don't expect him to be the difference in a 4-4-2.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Always been the one I consider my dream buy for January, he's exactly what we need right now

( and he may well end up costing that amount...)
FrankieADZ Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 would love us to get him, just cant see it happening sadly
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Very good player with experience at this level. I'd welcome him here for sure.
dannythefox Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Be decent for us he's the sort we need. But I think he can do better than us.
STUHILL Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 It is the vaguest of links but YES please! This is where the owners really need to show their ambition, as he would be difficult to convince, but money talks! He is a top Premier League midfielder and is exactly what we need in our midfield. Imagine if we had a midfield of Drinky, Schneiderlin and SIlva.... I can dream.
desertfox2 Posted 7 December 2016 Posted 7 December 2016 Please, Please let this happen... He is the perfect player to bring back what we have lost with Kante going. Tackles and interceptions in the middle of the pitch. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/stats-zone-premier-league-central-midfielder-year
