Imagine the players especially Vardy and Drinky will have read this and will be relaying their thoughts to the owners. Rudkin wanting Shakey is a good thing too. As someone suggested, a chant of 'Craig Shakespeare, give him the job' at the Hull game would be good to let our owners know how we feel?

It's just at the wrong time. Five years ago, after Fulham and WBA, I'd have loved him here but not now, the England job must've taken so much out of him and he's not a long term choice either.

It will be disgraceful if we don't employ him, he's an unemployed ex England Manager. It matters not if he's any good we need to put the Soul back into football.

Rob Dorsett simply said the four decision makers are not briefing anyone, so this is all speculation, and most likely Roy's people expressing interest in the post. Shaky likely to be in charge at the weekend, see where we are after that.

Best Shakey gets the players riled up then, imagine his team talk on Saturday. "Look lads, f### up today and you'll end up with Roy". How can that not inspire them!
