What, are they injured?

This is my point, they are not injured, and if you wanna keep them healthy you need to give them breaks. This is basic stuff man.

It's not like Musa and Slimani are worthless, we know they have the potential to do something.

Anyone else a bit nervous about this one? All the other games so far we haven't been clear favorites but something is making me uneasy about it being a "guaranteed" 3 points and our form being the best vs theirs the worst. I don't think Shakey will let the lads get carried away but Sunderland massively need something here.

Yes I'm a little nervous. But it's not so much because of us potentially underestimating Sunderland due to the comparison in form, more that it's our last very winnable game before 4 very tough away games as well as the CL 1st leg inbetween.

Looking at it logically and rationally, we should do well, but there might be that pressure that creeps in, should we go behind first or find it tough to break them down, that if we don't get 3 points or at least 1, we'll regret it and then be embarking on a very anxious period for the next 4 weeks! That's the worry for me. I don't know, perhaps I'm saying the same thing as you?!

Anyway, fingers crossed we'll get the job done and I'm sure Shakespeare has touched on the exact same things we are worried about! As others have said, best available players tonight and 3 points please City!

All I ask is that we play our part and be the twelfth man, and that the players put as much into it as we do. 3 points needed tonight please lads, bring it on :scarf:

With Defoe out, or possibly not at 100%, and Moyes under fire, we should be hammering these by 3 or 4.

An early goal will see that happen otherwise we could be in for a nervy night.

I expect an early goal.

I expect an early goal from us but I reckon they'll score as well. Going to need 2 or 3 to win it. Don't think this is going to be the walk in the park everybody thinks

Unchanged.

Albrighton for Musa on the bench.

I bet Gray has the biggest shoulder roll of his young life going on.

Hold on, we've turned David Moyes physically threatening women into a debate about paying for a rehabilitative prison system and whether it's effective or not. Good effort!
