Guest Papasmurf Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Surprised they write so much crap about us on their forums. Last time I was up there, the 0-0 where we stayed up there was nothing but handshakes and well wishes for us in the boozers I was in.
ARTY_FOX Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Why do they have such a high opinion of themselves as a fan Base? They're silent until they go one down then they just boo as they all walk out the ground half an hour early...

Finnegan Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Hahahaha I love the irony on that Sunderland thread. Start a thread about a football forum of a club you've spent the last three years being salty and bitter about, accuse them of being bitter/jealous of your relegation fodder club. Immense.

The fans in the city and around the ground were tidy, I assume that forum is just as full of petty mouthbreathers as this place tbh!

WE ARE NEEDED TONIGHT. NEEDS TO BE LIKE LIVERPOOL ATMOSPHERE. a bad result tonight potentially screws up the Madrid tie re player rotation. everton - they will badly need to win palace -likewise arsenal - likewise we could go to West Brom on the cusp of the bottom three with a depressing 'what might have been' Madrid result fresh in our minds dont underestimate how important a win tonight is to the remainder of the season. They are vulnerable and we need to ram home our advantage from the off. that includes the crowd!!!!!! I couldn't agree more. If we're on 36pts by the end of tonight it gives us so much more legroom to take more risks and utilise the rotation of the squad for future league games whilst we focus on the Champions League. It will also help our chances in the semi final if we get there. A win tonight and we're almost home and hosed.

I think they're bringing 800 here tonight as well, the worst away following by a club since QPR three seasons a go?

Out Foxed Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 jealous of Sunderland haha. In my lifetime there existence has mainly been defined by a bigger club up the road. Although they did pip us to a title.
broughtonblue Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Not read all this thread but rivalry aside. I think on 5 minutes we should unite as only football can..... One bradley lowrey There's only one bradley lowrey

Vile club and I'll be celebrating when they go down.

Ian Nacho Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Unchanged lineup for me, Gray could terrorise Billy Jones.

It belittles the real problems out there for women and the lack of will to do anything effective about them. Instead they turn on a decent guy and try to make an example of him for publicity's sake. Pity those same reactionaries aren't presented with some real abusers of women and challenged to decide and effect their fate. Many, I'm sure, would turn out to baulk at such a responsibility. Even in my own family there are those who theoretically want to protect women but wouldn't have the conviction to do it effectively. Moyes is just being kicked for the sake of it by a ragbag of activists seeking to make something out of nothing. Why don't they concentrate on the real arseholes out there and the proper justice (retrospective if necessary), that many of them deserve? Thought not!

Amazing how you can make such Billy big bollocks comments about the champions of England when you're dead and buried in the premier league what always makes me laugh about comments like this is that they invariably come from fans with no self awareness. I mean, yeah, we're a yo-yo club of average stature. Them pointing it out doesn't offend me in the slightest. But it's hilariously embarrassing when it comes from the fan of a yo-yo club of average stature. They're from a bigger metropolitan area and get a few more people in their ground and they equate that with being massive, like Wednesday, Newcastle and all these other bang average clubs. The **** have sunderland done in any of their life times
Ted Maul Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 There are far more dislikeable clubs out there than Sunderland. There's some shite spouted on that forum (as with any forum), but I just find it funny when it comes from anyone in the north east- I think it's the accent and the fact that they are genuinely nuts up there.
filbertway Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 Can't see anybody who matters under-estimating the importance of this game. Fully expecting us to go out there and get at them, hopefully the game's dead and buried by half time. Especially with how we seem to stop playing after about the 60 minute mark.

Thracian Posted 4 April 2017 Posted 4 April 2017 1 hour ago, Max Power said: Actually think we might absolutely smash these. 4-0. Moyes gone in the morning. Moyes was never going to save Sunderland but if I were the club's owner I'd never see him sacked in the midst of the disgraceful witchhunt being fostered at the moment. The man was being light-hearted. In today's society where little things are blown out of all proportion while real responsibility is avoided due to a lack of will to do what's permanently effective, he made a mistake which he's quickly been obliged to apologise for. And that while real problem people have been tolerated for years before (sometimes) being brought to justice and, even then, all are living and breathing either among us still, or waiting for their eventual release from a prison where we've been footing the bill to keep them. We really are such two-faced hypocrites. A decent man gets hammered in public while real bulllies get away with all sorts and are often back in society to do the same in next to no time.
