Carl the Llama Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 Fully agree with this. Also every supporter should take a pram filled with toys to the kp and proceed to throw said toys onto the pitch at kick-off.

ozleicester Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 If there is a Tifo that blocks the view as the officials and players walk out AND we boo the music so it cant be heard.. can you imagine the uproar? Kinda makes the whole night pointless

Give the whole Kop yellow cards. If it was done as a pisstake it'd be funny. I can't believe they booed the anthem but let fvcking Seven Nation Army off scot-free.
blue army 1988 Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 Would rather drown out their team announcement with our fans singing and get behind the boys in blue 100% so we can beat Athleti and give their manager he'll. Im sure that would be better than booing the starting music that has no affiliation to Athletico Madrid at all. Or each time there's a foul the whole ground shouts for a penalty. Where ever it is.
leftbackinthechangingroom Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 Best thing we can do is crank up the atmosphere like we did against Sevilla instead of booing the champions league music.
sm1 Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 i don't know whats more pathetic, booing the music or fining clubs for booing.
stretch1965 Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 I'm not booing it and never would, I feel proud that my team have earnt the right to play in this competition and there for have the pleasure of this special piece of music which can only be played at CL matches before a match. So there

I'm so excited for that feeling again, the atmosphere in that game was phenomenal.
Bossman Blessed It Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 Absolute joke of a thread to act as if we're the only team in Champions League history to suffer from a bad refereeing decision. It's right to feel aggrieved but that music has defined some of the greatest matches, involving some of the greatest players in the history of football. Booing it will make you look like a tit.
adejo92 Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 I don't think the boo's will stretch very far considering a large quantity of the crowd will actually be Uefa!! Maybe just best to remain adults and enjoy this incredible journey.

jayfox26 Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 I get your point but Tuesday will be the biggest night we've ever had at the king power (maybe except when we played Everton last season) and I for one want to fully enjoy the experience and not think about fifa and last night's ref etc. The way we can get back at the Madrid c u n t 's is by making the kp really hostile and make more no noise than we've ever made before. Get behind the lads and make the most of what will be a fantastic evening, regardless of the result.
Thracian Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 It's hard to know what we can do to counterbalance the rough deal we seem to get from UEFA officials. As mentioned in another thread, there was absolutely no excuse for last night's penalty decision. Contact was clearly made outside the box and if the referee was in any way unsighted he's not entitled to guess what might have happened. . To give a penalty was unjust and inexcusable. And yet another reason electronic technology should be used. Then the right decision would have prevailed and there would have been no controversy and no sense of us being robbed by a referee giving something which didn't happen and therefore could not have been seen to have happened.. I'm disgusted but not surprised. And am still waiting for the logical reason for not using advanced technology to confirm vital decisions. But what to do? There's a part of me would suggest we sit back in unannounced but passive protest and let next week's referee whistle up 20 goals for Atletico. Maybe the adverse publicity would have some positive effect although I feel sure the media on the European mainland would never agree with us as a matter of principle. Instead I imagine we'll entertain the Athletico like a civilised community, do our level best on the pitch and get knocked out with an air of "good effort but good riddance." .
NewEnglandFox Posted 13 April 2017 Posted 13 April 2017 Why? To give UEFA an excuse to take money from us? They've done it before.

There isn't really an excuse for yesterday's penalty decision and only adds to the arguement why more technology should be used to stop decisions like last night happening. However much i didnt agree with the penalty I can accept that 'errors' can happen. The consistency of refereeing decisions is inexcusable though - every time a Madrid player went down it was a foul, we never won anything, game played on if we went down - it gets to a point it becomes obvious. We could of scored last night and it would of probably still been disallowed. Uefa choose these refs and have the power to do more with performances like last night, the matter of fact is that nothing will happen is a joke. Personally I find it hard to accept that we got cheated by Madrid 20 years ago and once again last night.
