Gray - considering future

Recommended Posts

Maybe he would get more game time if he didn't make the same mistakes several times every game. Wastes time on the ball rather than release it quickly and then tries to copy Mahrez and take too many on.  Runs and shoots from a distance but doesn't even get it on target.  I can't remember the last time he forced a save from a keeper with his long range efforts.

He has great pace and can skin defenders but doesn't use his brain, he becomes blinkered and only wants the wonder goal.

I don't want him to leave as he can get past defenders and get a cross in, he has proven that but doesn't go down that path enough.

WOW! A big blow to the team! Just can't help but feel the team gonna miss his match winning ability and flair, one of the best to play for Leicester. On his day he is a world beater, an amazing talen....... Wait! This isn't the mahrez thread!

If he is leaving, he should make sure that the door doesn't hit him in his way out

'Sky sources' say a player is looking to move on and list clubs interested. Sky Bet opens up a market for that player's transfer. People lump on who they think the player will go to based on very little at all. Player stays and market closes. Sky profit.

There's something very, very wrong allowing a company to be both a news media outlet and a bookmaker.

he looks at a team struggling to create anything and thinks he deserves a chance but we continue to pick a winger based on defending and he gets annoyed and you and others are shocked?

He'd be well within his rights to think that if he was creating chances/getting assists regularly enough.

I'm afraid these reports about Gray are really starting to piss me off.

In 2015/16 we won the league (that's won the league!) with Mahrez and Albrighton playing as our wide players. What exactly was Gray expecting in his first full season with us as a young professional? To displace the player of the year and the reliable MA.

Probably the best he had a right to hope for would be that he was the next cab off the rank if the first choice players' form dropped. That's exactly what happened, but when given a shot he didn't exactly make the place his own. A few useful cameos, but consistently isn't necessarily expected from young players.

He's got the skill, but now he needs the application to go with it. "Give your gob a rest, get your head down, work hard and make the shirt your own son!" Earn your respect.

if you only get 5-10 mins when the rest of the team have basically stopped attacking how many assists can you get? he still scored more goals than Albrighton and not much fewer assists in far less mins on the pitch, to say he doesn't produce is simply not true, his end product will get better the more he plays, Shaky needs to get over his fear of starting both Gray and Mahrez, assuming Riyad stays, so the team can have a greater goal threat

We're not good enough defensively to play with two strikers and two attacking wingers.

Barely any teams outside the top 4 play with 4 out and out attackers.

he would argue those players weren't dropped often enough given their form and he didn't get given a run in the side to settle in and show what he can do.

anyplayer that gets put in and know he has to do it all in one game will struggle to do so

we are if we get over this obsession of 442 which has only every worked for us when we had some guy called Kante doing the work of 3 men by himself in there

Well from what I saw he made nothing like a compelling case. Where does he think he's going? If he played at a bigger club than us he'd have probably been loaned out to Bristol City last season.

Is everyone losing their shit based on reports from "Sky Sources?"

Theres nothing wrong with him wanting more game time. No doubt this has then been fabricated into a story based on that.

Hes a talent. Who knows what hes been promised etc. Hope he doesnt read the message board based on some fans comments.

Spurs played Harry Winks a lot last season, they would play Gray just as much if not more so what you say isn't true
