Gylfi Sigurdsson

Nacho plays the Shinji role very well. Gylfi plays the middle or the left very well, AMC, AML, LW. He can slot right in at LW and play like Mahrez in a 4-4-2.

Best I think would be to add a CB and then play some 3-5-2, with Ndidi and Iborra/James in front of the backs, and Gylfi flanked by two wing-backs, likely Albrighton and Chilwell. That would be really potent I expect, and very solid defensively. Otherwise, AMs are often allowed to roam a bit, if we're disciplined elsewhere, he can sort of just play in the middle in support of our forwards.

I've seen him play in a front 3 and also in CM for Iceland but he would be wasted playing in one of the wide positions in a 442

Fantastic player but he wants to go to Everton, not us. I'm all for progressing us but I'd feel uncomfortable spending £50m on a player. It felt wrong spending £8m when we bought Ulloa! (He proved to be value for money btw)

it'd be worth it to have a reliable free kick taker for the first time in donkey's years

I'm pretty sure Knockaert popped in a few.

2 that I can remember. Sheffield Wednesday at home and a League Cup game early in his Leicester career. Last decent dead ball specialist was Paul Gallagher.

You repeat this line ad nauseam but have given no evidence at all that Giffy doesn't want to come here. Can you oblige?

It's always the same derogatory post when he doesn't agree or think it's wrong glad to see I'm not the only one who notices the same nauseating reply !!?

That's what I thought... but no way can seriously play Mahrez wing back ha.

True unless you ditch wingbacks and played a simple back three but that could be disastrous down the right.

Rather give Barnes and James a good chance, tbh.

Youngsters who feel they can offer strong determination and resilience to play, than someone on big wages and, reportedly, demanding to leave a club.

If he really wanted to leave, he would be handed in a transfer request (something unless he told Swansea very recently, officially?) at short notice and not this long?
