He' contracted until at least 2020, so it all depends on whether anyone pays the asking price again. The owners showed in the summer that they won't be mugged off easily.

Hes wanted away for the past two seasons now, theres no way we're holding onto him for a third time

Like many on here I am very interested in Harvey's  progress so made the journey to Burton to watch Barnsley on Tuesday night.

Despite scoring in the last couple of minutes he was very peripheral throughout and was a little bullied by Jake Buxton.

He's a good clean runner, sharp, turns well, good control but a little lightweight as you'd expect for a nineteen year old and did not get involved as much as you'd like to see  after a few "borderline" challenges from Buxton.

He will have learnt a lot from the game and the manager obviously has a lot of time for him otherwise he would've been taken off earlier. The average age of the barnsley team was only 23 so I'm sure he'll enjoy his football there and I'd say that it's probably the perfect place for him for the year.

I hope he goes on to be a superstar for us but despite his promise he a looked a fair way off the standard we need right now.

A goal and an assist and the game before a goal and hit the bar. He seems to be the sort of player that when he's involved in the game he makes something happen but the rest of the time he's not that bothered. A bit like us as a team. Don't need or want the ball all the time but when we have it we tend to do something with it. Barnsley are improving in the last few weeks so hopefully Barnes will really progress this season as he seems to be on a one way ticket to making it.

was nosing about on the Barnsley forums yesterday and saw one of them say that despite the goals + assists, his general play isn't that great.

I’d rather that than the other way round, it’s frustrating as **** when a player looks good but doesn’t produce anything - like Gray at times (although he’s been fantastic recently). His game will develop over time.

So he doesn't play very well except to score and assist, and so the rest of the team protects him, in the knowledge he'll knock one in or provide a deft assist, thereby winning matches, making him sound like another player we currently have on our books?

You'd find that in here if we'd got Messi

Let's be honest he's completely overrated. Too short to play up front, way too selfish as he always tries to dribble past everyone and hardly gets a tackle in. Never scores a header either. And he only has 361 goals from 392 games despite playing for Barcelona.

Rubbish.

Most folk of Leicestershire will remember for his time at Non League Hinckley and the role he played in a FA Cup run which ended in a televised game at the dump Middlefield Lane.

moving from Middlefield land is what killed the club! Loved Middlefield Lane the games against Nuneaton on Boxing Day / New Years Day were always great.
