4 goals and 3 assists in 661 minutes, if he sustains these sort of figures then we’ll be struggling to keep him. More productive than Lawrence in both goals and assists - Lawrence is 3 or possibly 4 years older ands has played significantly more career games which again shows how much talent Barnes has.

It really is Harvey Barnsley FC

Also Barnsley’s forum is a rusty dogshit bin from the nineties

Be interesting to know if he attends a match when we're not playing of course.

Why would he attend if we aren't playing

Never understand why people are so keen to rush back youngsters who are doing well.

Let him stay there, much better than sitting on our bench.

When he's ready, get him in, sure, but for now we should sit back and watch him grow at a level he's comfortable.

We're only just breaking Gray in to the first team, Barnes has a bit to do yet.

Aye and also where he's obviously enjoying his football. I'd suggest he's also developing and maturing on a personal level in an environment where he is the equal or better than his team mates.

What would be the point of recalling somebody who won't even make our bench

Unless he's got a chance of starting games he should stay where he is

Yeah, would certainly highlight if he has the brains to be a footballer.

Here's the goal he scored vs Burton:

I read that it was a match low on quality?! Some of those goals . That Williams volley is incredible

True

He's loving it...as it shows.

The younger fringe players are happy and want a loan (Harvey asked, Shakey agreed) to enhance their careers. Opposite for the more mature players.

Great that he's in the proper squad after missing out on the World Cup and going to the Toulon Tournament instead. Still, both worked out pretty well!

Let's hope he impresses and continues to excel with Barnsley. If so it shouldn't be too long before he's in the U21 squad.

Can't wait to have Gray -- Barnes -- Mahrez playing behind a forward.

Realistically though its never gonna happen. Chances of Mahrez still being here next season.....

He' contracted until at least 2020, so it all depends on whether anyone pays the asking price again. The owners showed in the summer that they won't be mugged off easily.
