Ulloa genuinely offers nothing....at least Musa has speed and occasionally you think "ahhh he might be able to do something here".

I'd take Gary TF over him right now, can't be any slower

Slimani is lucky to be on the pitch still.

Musa well dunno what to say other than SHITE

Gray - not making any impression at all.

Chillwell - having a good game

Well after that half it's clear we have very little options in reserve.

Lose drinkwater and mahrez, and not get quality replacements in who can hit the ground running, I worry this season.

This..all day long. He looks very angry too

Hes a red waiting to happen.

I've been behind him 100% from the start but i'm thinking we need to just get someone else in and cash in tbh, good player but we don't play to suit him and he can't play the vardy role, ends up running around hopelessly.

Abysmally dull first half.

positives: Slim has looked pretty good dropping back, Chilwell looking positive and Grays corners have been good.

negatives: Musa hit and miss (mostly miss), Ulloa has been pretty much pointless. Hamer not looked convincing when called into action either.

Today's maths lesson.

LCFC reserves 0 = Championship reserves 0

LCFC reserves = Championship reserves

What a load of shite. Get some of the subs  on. This is probably the only competition we have any hope of winning this season. Let's get through. Extra time will be painful.

Performance on par with the team selection really. Sheff Utd look better that Brighton did at the weekend!

Annoying that we probably  need to Sub Slim. Could put Musa or Gray up with Ulloa for 20 mins and bring Mahrez on now?

No leadership on the pitch at the moment, not a good mix of players. We should be seeing a more cohesive, high-focus game plan being executed, including some tidy play as players seek to impress Shakey. Instead, we seem content to let Chilwell, Gray, and Musa to go 1-on-1, then either shoot or cross for our big heads. Which frankly may well be adequate, I know, but the play is very sloppy and casual from Leicester. Who are the leaders on the pitch at the moment? Some of these lads need a speaking to, everyone seems overeager to take the shot when they need to be thinking about making the extra pass. Musa in particular seems far too keen to score and make an impression rather than playing well, but we've seen Gray do it a fair bit, King tried to kick the ball through 15 players in the box, etc. etc.

And FFS, how about some shots on goal? I'll take my chances with a rebound, rather than these shanks into the stands.

Hamer has looked ok. He's a long-limbed lad, isn't he? At the half, Leicester has certainly had the best of it, though if Sheffield were just a bit luckier, we'd be down a goal, they've had some quality opportunities from near point blank range.

King is playing in the De Rossi role (minus the odd flying challenge) of pretty much being in between the 2 central defenders at times, playing it about nicely too and getting forward on occasion. Nice to see.

Poor game on the whole so far.

Few chances, badly taken chances. Slimani with the best chance for us, squandering a near-free header?

Need and can do better than this. Then again, it's more or less a second-string outfit we've put out tonight, so I don't know what to expect.

Slimani, Maguire, Chilwell and King come out with a lot of credit.

Fuchs and Amartey hardly ever tested. Ndidi is doing ok.

Ulloa, Gray and Musa all very frustrating to watch - for various reasons.

Gray his usual selfish self.

Ulloa largely invisible.

Musa huffs and puffs, but lacks precision and application.

In fairness we're also missing Iborra and Ineanacho, both of whom you'd expect will be part of the core 15 or so that regularly play or come on.

Struggling to see the point of Ulloa. We've been completely toothless against a fairly poor side apart from that Brooks lad - fair enough they're a Championship team and have made changes.

What a weird half - loads of movement and pinging the ball around from both sides but not a single chance or decent goal attempt at either end from what I remember
