No strong incoming rumours

My opinion is rumours only tend to hit papers is if people want them to.

Leiceter on the the most part seem to conduct their business behind closed doors. I suspect we are talking to a lot of clubs/agents for replacement players for any that leave late in the window and potential squad additions.

im not too worried unless we don't complete those deals

All the talk is of players potentially leaving but nothing strong on any incomings.

I guess that's it for us?

There was barely anything about Maguire and Iborra before they happened.

I think it's a case of, we're ok with what we have unless we can shift one or two, if we do then we can move on others.

My theory on the last few days.

We were planning on selling drinky to Chelsea and signing delph. We were propably quite far down the line with delph. He choose Stoke because he's worked with Hughes before so we told drinky he has to stay hence drinkys transfer request.

I like this theory, and can see that this kind of complexity could and does happen.

When has Delph worked with Hughes?

This.

PLUS Iheanacho happened without much prior knowledge of that deal too.

In fact I seem to remember his signing taking absolutely everyone by surprise because both clubs had kept it so quiet.

I seem to remember thinking "Crikey, imagine the number of pages that discussion thread could have got to if we'd all known about it before".

Should've merged the mother Fuchsing threads.

Nailed on for a laughably underwhelming loan signing late on deadline day. Not the end of the world if we don't lose more than 1 player.

I reckon it'll be a big signing for the Under 9s
