Lcfc_ben Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I'm not the only one... I'm guessing around 75% of the fans are starting to want Pearson back too. Defensively we were sound; the set up of the club from training to transfers and tactics to unity was first class. I think we are losing that 'NP touch' at the moment which has brought us so much success and Leicester City is losing its sparkle. We need our saviour and fast...

All the good, hard work he did for this club, turning it round and pointing it in the right direction again has gone.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I absolutely love Nige but I don't think he's what we need now. We need a new direction and a new philosophy. Re-appointing NP would be a retrograde step imho. Significant that he got the Leuven job though.

I put losing as I didn't want to be too negative would set the Shakespeare Fan Club into uproar!
PintsandPyro Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Incredible manager for us, took this to happen for people to realise just how good he was. Set up a team who played for each other, if anyone didnt like it then they go (see our record signing at the time Mills). I think he will be back here in the next 6 months.
Bayfox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Right now yes I'd take him. Mainly from an off the pitch point of view and the fact he can manage and upset a dressing room if needs must. Or at least root out the shit he feels is a negative impact. It's the only way shakey stays as well. But if think the owners may see it as a bit too soon even with the recent softening of relations. He would certainly make us more solid but is that the real issue. It's the lack of plan a that's a worry. Would rustle the **** out our fan base in some areas tho and for that alone it would be worth it.
st albans fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 75% ?? Really? shakeys tactics are apparently clueless but so were Nigel's for 80% of the great escape season
Dames Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 He'd be a great Director of Football in the sense of infrastructure but as a 1st team manager no. We need a new face with fresh ideas and no previous ties.
Suzie the Fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I think 75% of fans is a slight exageration tbh. Not that i have anything against Pearson. But id rather us move forward and try something new.
Fox92 Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I love Pearson I really do, have respect for the job he did on and off the pitch, but honestly can we just get away from bringing him up everytime we want a new manager. It's like MON all over again. We need to move on. We should have got a better manager than Shakespeare in the summer.
splinterdream Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I can't help but think his appointment at OH Leuven is a way of edging him back without the Thai's losing face should things go bad with Shakespeare
Ashley Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I said this when Shakey took over. He is the last remaining person left from when we gained an idenity. We don't have one now everyone has left. Cya bye. It wont be long before people want Shakey gone.
whetstonefox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Some of the players may be thinking it though, kasper, vardy, Morgan for a start. He may not be anywhere near coming back but his employment by King Power means it's not beyond the realms of possibility
adam Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 No thank you. Did a great job for us but it's time to move on. We need someone who is proven in this league. Pearson is not. Some of his football we played in the PL was bloody terrible also.

Meaning even if offered he can't take it? Heard is release clause it 18 million quid to anyone other than leicester
Sampson Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Love Pearson but we need someone with an entirely fresh approach right now. As great as the management team since 2008 has been it's gotten stale and we just need another approach.
David Hankey Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Pearson, for God's sake that is looking backwards. Tried him twice and what did he do for us in the Premiership? No thanks!!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I miss the effort of Pearson teams. Today we didn't look fussed in the first half. Pearson would not put up with that shite. Some cages would be rattled tonight if he was still in charge

Was always going to be a recipe for disaster with him in the mix of the management team...

Considering we've been in this division for 3 seasons, won it and spent in excess of 100 million pounds as well as probably quadrupling the wage bill, we seem to be no better off. I'd rather not go back to Pearson. It's time we tried to progress and get in a young forward thinking manager.
