a leeds fan said this about riyad on reddit:

"He's a class above anyone else we've played this year. Made a defense that has been fairly solid look absolutely useless"

Interesting comment earlier about possibly not having Vardy as a starter. Its a thought as tonight there were two targets.Be a big call but not out of the question.Slim seems to have a better sense of position to be on the end of the final ball but hes never going to have Vardys pace and attitude.

So nice to see a back four so comfortable on the ball and not hoof  it .

Certainly was good to see, Just gives you that time rather than hitting it up and then having to defend again. The players we had at the back certainly all know how to keep the ball and pass it

Let’s hope we can sign Dragovic at the end of the season

Next 2-3 PL games Slimani and Vardy to start...??

Albrighton, still does his defensive duties better, but at home give Gray his reins.

Morgan, club captain or not...Rather see either  Maguire/Huth/Drago for a few games.

Chilwell deserves a run, Fuchs has been very patchy.

Amartey has done his case no harm, but I still like Simpson.Simpson does  covers that back line so well.

Does this mean that we now have a proper cover for Simpson in Amartey at right back?

Based on tonight I’d rather Simmo was the cover and Amartey was our RB

I didn't watch the game. How good did we play?

Started poorly, grew into it well. Some lovely composed play from the defence and Iborra

If Vardy doesnt play...Then I expect any good manager or coach, to select a formation that doesnt try to expdct those 2 front men to give

a Vardy performance, but preferably a clever plan B

Yet again this highlights how poor the Championship is in terms of quality.

We moan about some Premiership games, but the Championship is on another level of low.

Still, great performance in the s

Hey Appleton actually did something we all wanted for a while , he played FULL FORCE leicester team

We had Vardy , Nacho , Slim , Mahrez & Gray on the pitch at the same time and we all saw how we were playing

econd half and Amartey looked very composed on the ball.  I'm more stunned about that than the result tbh.  lol

bit unfair they left 8 players out and looked better side first 20

What's Okazaki done to deserve to be dropped?

Toss up between amartey and Iborra for man of the match.

Iborras passing is getting better and better but he's still slower than me getting out of bed on a Monday morning.

Dragovic was steady as was Maguire an chilwell

Gray was off his game and albrighton did what he does.each game.

Kingy did a decent enough job again

Slim needed shooting for his miss but made amends and actually started playing a bit after he scored.

Nacho was better bit still looks lost most of the time.

Quality from Mahrez.

Poor first half apart from the last 5/10 mins. Started slow in the 2nd but then shifted up a good few gears and played some nice stuff.

Our quality shined through in the end and we made Leeds look like a sh1tty championship side. I thought Harry and Drago linked up very well, surely the future back two. Both very comfortable on the ball.

I'd say either Amartey or Iborra for motm. King his usual phantom self. Grey his usual frustrating self, a lack of intelligence when he needs it mixed with an eye for glory a little too much I think. Shame as he always looks threatening. Albrighton I thought was poor. Mahrez coming on gave us that edge in the final third. Pleased for Iheanacho. Onwards and upwards!

All of this?

If Tottenham and Chelsea win tomorrow, 5/8 teams are the top of the table regulars. We'd be very lucky to get Bournemouth or Bristol City. Let's hope it's at home.

Chilwell and Amartey very good tonight, Iborra superb, Iheanacho and Slimani worked well together and Gray and Mahrez were dangerous. Maguire was our worst player tonight along with King, very sloppy in possession but will sometimes have games like that as he's never going to stop trying to make things happen.

In all fairness, Leeds fielded a second-string outfit for most of the game. They're a good side, a very good even at times. Promotion material. If not this season, then surely next.
